Besides, that is an overhead cam (OHC) engine. And the overhead valve (OHV) engines with hydraulic lifters would have the ticking noise.

@tymcman it's common, but I wouldn't call it "fine". They're not supposed to do that. And trust me, it's a 4.6 L, not a 4.7
For reference: this is a 2010 Tundra with the 4.6L
