Here ya go.... 18 years later, and I still laughed at stabbin' 80 muther fuckers a day. Good deal, man. I just picked up the fixed blade version from Spyderco, and that grip is still the same.
nice belt.
Thanks for the review, Andrey just got $27.99 of my money...
Thanks for serving, and thanks for the review, James. That's a beautiful piece of functional art.
hahaha saggy ass
Great commentaries about this fighting defensive knife. LOL about the 80 mofos you have stab comment. Thumbs up!
If I had to stab 80 MFers a day I'd probably never put it in my pocket anyway. On a normal 8 hr work day, that is one stabbing every 6 minutes. In fact, I am not sure I'd ever even fold it back into the carry position.
Great review and you were pretty funny as well!
Could you say "its puts the lotion in the basket" in one of your videos?
Those little plastic d-rings are anchor points for equipment/weapon dummy cords.
Awesome review man, thanks. Ordering two for me and my girl.
Thx for the review. I'm thinking this or the Ian Sinclair Cardsharp2
"If you wear a 50 waist, you need to go on a damn diet" haha love it. True story
amazon
$20 where?????
Alright James G, I got one on the way. We'll shall see what we shall see. Appreciate the vid and your viewpoint. Peace.
My only disagreement here is that your knife should be second nature to you. I use my defensive knives for every task you can use a knife for. I've gotten to the point I can operate them halfasleep in pitch black darkness. Knives, particularly folders, require some fine motor skills to bring into a fight. If rather those beas close to instinctual as possible.
Is it possible to take off the pocket clip?
I have this knife and don't like it. The opening mechanism is clumsy, and if your not careful, you can easily cut yourself just by opening. Further, you really can't get a great grip on the handle, and can inadvertently have your fingers slide forward and get cut/sliced on the double edged blade. All in all, I believe a spring loaded mechanism is much much faster to open. I purchased this knife for the 'looks' and novelty, but it's going on my shelf!
Could u plz show us how well it,does when cutting a box or something
most of DIY utility knives (especially with disposable blades) has this blade shape. (look at Stanley catalog for example). And they're not "one purpose only : stabbing" ;)
Nice video. Suggestion: Put the FN things on and show us how they fit!!!! Too many videos of people showing pockets, buttons, zippers etc. Nobody showing how they look and feel. Keeping it real bro.
James, I'm gonna have to go ahead and sort of disagree with you here. Wharncliffe knives are extremely useful for utility tasks. Also, if you don't have hand calluses, earn some (not you).
Yeah Fuck politics. I have been using a benchmade autostryker at my work to open boxes and cut plastic bailing straps for well over a year then one day my store manager saw I was using a "switchblade". Now no more personal knives at work. Bull Shit I work in a meat shop I am paid to use knives all day so if I don't know how to properly handle a auto tactical knife safely and hurt myself. Well then its my own damn fault.
I'll stick with the 888 Cop. Same brand.
Is the pocket clip removable? I just got the cardsharp knife, which turned out to be a piece of shit, so I'm back in the market for another credit card sized knife but pocket clip kinda ruins it for me since it adds significantly to the thickness...
fuck political correctness. i use a sage 1 for everything. im gonna get a boker subcom titan for boxes/etc its titanium, not steel
they are at $12.99 for the moment... kinda good deal ... thanks for the review man ;)
Do more reviews, this was awesome !
How's the velcro on the side pockets holding up? I've had bad experiences with velcro on ACU's being totally useless in 3 months or so, so I'm wary of anything velcro.
SWEET IM DEPLOYING SOON, GONNA ORDER A FEW OF THOSE FOR SURE! THANKS FOR VID! HOOAH
Highlights include "You don't look like you're walking around with a big load in your pants" and "If you wear a 30, order a 31, if you wear a 50, go on a damn diet." Thanks for the vid.
That pouch is just uber cool
Nice. Might have to pick a couple of those up.
The audio sounds odd, is that the play back or was it altered?
Haha, great review. My favorite part, "...I guess if you had to stab like, 80 mothafuckers throughout the day, then yeah sure I could see that it might rub a hole in your pants" That made me LOL for real. Subscribed dude!
Light cigarettes are for women and children, James. Ooooo that Sig looks sweet with all that use!
James, I feel your pain on how harsh washings are. It is no different here in Afghanistan. I had some of these at the house but did not take them because I had some Vertex to TE. The vertex are pretty nice, but not nearly as much a cost value as the LA Police Gear. I like the palstic hardwear myself. We of course get issued 5.11's, but I wish I had brought my LA Police gears instead.
