DR PINBALL, some pinball games ROM chips has a start up problem that while shut the game off if any of the playfield coils are locked close or shorted out. What is this start up program called that checks if any coil is locked on/shorted out? this prevents damaging the solenoid pcb board components like the driver chips and PIA chips. I don't know what the software program is called in the ROM chips its like a test program during only start up

what is the best option to low the temperature from the lamps resistors on the driverboard? Is it the 5w resisotrs mod or the mosfet mod?

Clear Nail Polish / Conformal Coating is fine, The Copper look is fine, I actually prefer that look as well, as long as its not Bare Copper, I think people just say something because it looks Bare.. ( as you can't see the Conformal Coating )

Hi doctor! When you conformal coat the board, do you do it prior to installing the IC’s, resisitors and etc?

Hi there! A friend of mine owns a Millionaire, and he can't get the speech to work. Sound effects, music and everything else works just fine. Sound and speech roms are changed with no results. It's really weird! Do you happen to know, if speech ONLY goes through the front speakers and NOT the subwoofer? 🤔

This explanation seems to be lacking quite a lot. Where does the other side go? Can't still be the slap tilt.

When measuring the Voltage Rails of the Flipper Coil Voltage using an oscilloscope, the voltage will drop dips down each time you press the flipper coil voltage. What can you do fix the flipper voltage from dropping and dipping down each time you press the flipper coil voltage on various pinball games?

Why does the Flipper coils have their own PROM/ROM chip for the flippers? The original ROM sockets were "not" dual wipe but what are they? single wipe or what

Go through your camera settings. Make certain you selected a 16:9 video ratio and then make certain you record in landscape.

The repair made to this Williams System 9 MPU was done on my board that I sent to Dylan. Not only was the board repaired very quickly but the communication was excellent. You can feel confident sending boards to him and the repair process is top notch. I have since sent a second board for repair and it is already on the way back to me.
