Very emotional conclusion to J and Dooley's story, and J's wife is great

Like I can’t even be mad because this bonus episode is a blessing and I can see how it’s needed to end that way for the next plot arch and (spoilers) nothing bad actually happened, but I guess take my heart and I’ll see if it can be torn in half again next time.

When mari saved donner from alice, i thought that she was gonna hum the lullaby but when she started singing the lyrics I got chills. It was hauntingly beautiful with the ghost humming along as her voice slowly fades away as she was (hopefully) freed from the place she died in by doing something she loved, singing.

Love the animation and distortion effects ... (Spoilers below) Also, Mari's lines are so much sadder given the context of the latest episode

Mari and Donner are a couple now ... there is so much joy and grief associated with Christmas for her. It was interesting to learn about Nanay and Tatay's friends and various Filipino Christmas traditions

Honestly, what a good follow up to the mid act finale! “Babe,” “Mahal,” Christmas! ❤ 🎄

Amazing and devastating episode ... reframes everything we know about Mari ... Though now that she and Donner made some important confessions, hopefully she is starting to move towards some kind of healing

I love this podcast! I have some questions about this episode and the previous, though. I can't follow this episode or episode 42. Especially 42. Is the audio out of sequence somehow? It seems to jump all over (Edited because my initial comment didn't effectively reflect how great I think this podcast is!)

The characters are finally starting to resolve their conflicts ... Donner is getting magic lessons. Looking forward to a possible future Mary-Anne appearance The Abe reveal is shocking ... how could he be alive, a ghost, or a clockwork man? And how exactly did Mari fail Nanay?

Part 1 is not accurate of a title because so much set up is happening that it felt like 3 whole parts. Great episode for the situationship for sure

How do you rate your podcast? I listen to a lot of different podcasts and this is one of the best out there. It definitely deserves recognition. It needs more exposure!!

Love to see DJ again, and the story is quite creepy, especially the chanting in the background .... The poem has a lot of intriguing hints about the Sauvard family and the younger William's death ... and in just how many ways is Donner connected to the Elders?

I'm 4 seasons into TMA and it's undoubtedley one of my favorite stories in all of fiction and this seems like a great addition to my listening list after I'm done with it. I'm about 1 episode in, but it's SO good and absolutely fills the "urban legend inspired paranormal investigation podcast" hole that has formed in my heart.

Interesting, lots of revelations, and Mari putting the pieces together ... I certainly didn't expect that outcome to J and Dooley's reunion, and the message is quite cryptic ... Hope it will all work out for them and for J's family.

Another cliff hanger and I'm on the edge of my seat!

Another great episode that answered some questions while raising others. It was nice to get a bit of closure about J.
