Aim of Human Life … (Excerpt from message of Shri Datta Swami) In materialistic plane one person says that aim of his life is to achieve a particular post & help his family. Some other says that aim of his life is to serve mankind. We appreciate second aim as higher than first one. Highest aim of human life can be known only in spiritual plane. Sole aim of this creation is pleasing God through entertainment. Every human being is a part of creation and so same aim applies to every human being. Human being becomes fruitful if it serves Lord & pleases Lord through service. Service means sacrifice of work & sacrifice of fruit of work. Service is proof of real love. Mother serves her child by sacrificing lot of work like giving bath, dressing etc. for years together continuously. Father serves child by sacrificing fruit of all his hard work to child. It is practical point that proof of real love is only service. If you serve your family you love your family. If you serve entire world you love creation. If you serve creator, you love creator. Love is attraction of mind towards anybody or anything. When illness attacks body you take so much care to serve your body. You love your body. You serve your father, mother, wife & children because your mind is attracted towards them. What is first pre-requisite for this love? When you love your child, you are aware that a particular small living being is your child & you have differentiating knowledge of child from other children who are similar. Similarly, when you love God you must be aware of form of God, who must be differentiated from other forms as your child is differentiated from other children. You are identifying your child by certain special characteristics like shape of face, voice etc; you are not recognizing your child by the clothes, which it puts on. In my openion, vocal concert for particular festival like janmashtami,genesh chaturthi, ramanavami Ragam,thalam,pallavi, and Thani avarthanam can be avoided.only keerthans from related composers can be given,because the time frame only one hour, in this time frame vocalist should give maximum keerthans on the related god.
