Diving with Manta Rays on our honeymoon Jan 2015 with Mirihi dive centre. These are amazing creatures to observe, we also had a lucky encounter with a whale shark on the boat trip back to resort. Shot with GoPro Hero3, backscatter flip 3.1 filter.

This was our first open water dive at Jervis Bay after certification. Filmed with Go pro hero 3 with backscatter flip 3.1 underwater filter. I missed a lot of footage as I was focusing on bettering my buoyancy so apologies for any shaky camera work. Jervis Bay is a great place for Diving !!
Ok baba
How many days did you stay ? Which month ?
5 days was in January 2015
How long ago was this ? I wonder if the coral reefs are still as nice as you are showing. I heard the was a lot of damage to Maldives reefs last few years.
Hi! I was on the Island just a few days ago, and the very long wide reef is looking almost the Same amazing. But the reef on the other calm side is sadly still very grey. BUT its also getting better. We saw many New corals coming there. I love it there.
This is really incredible! The amount of fish and variety of fish. I think I went to the wrong resort last year when I was in the Maldives. I didn't see anything near this. Great job!
No, you just went there are after the 2016-2017 El Nino which devastated the corals around the Indian Ocean. Around 90% of corals died, so what you probably saw was a graveyard of what it used to be. Unfortunately, given how things are going with the constant warming of the oceans, it might never recover. Btw we had El Nino this year too, so there was another bleaching of whatever was survived and recovered from 7 years ago.
Wonderful video Really..........!
Here are some of the Maldives most observed species: www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=8425&subview=grid&view=species
Beautiful! Does anybody else post their underwater photography to inaturalist.org? It's a great site, here is some of the reef life you can see near Fort Lauderdale, FL: www.inaturalist.org/observations?nelat=26.189832019482445&nelng=-80.06700926056305&place_id=any&subview=grid&swlat=26.179241421899892&swlng=-80.09595566025178&user_id=joemdo&verifiable=any The website (it's also an app) works great for finding out what people have reported in your neighborhood or where you'll be travelling.
I Love Angsana Ihuru😍
Hai, music can give an important role in making videos, videos can be bad or good can be influenced by music, the music is beautiful, btw nice video !
been there twice, the environment was getting worse during last two years.
really beautiful coral reefs and fish (nice video) :D
Thank you, it was such a beautiful experience 😀
Nice video, dived around nelsons bay just a few months ago (13/06/2014 Nelson Bay Shark Diving) Going to order a flip 3.1 now as I've been correcting everything in post, also buying a decent video light. I've been shooting with a mono-pole, looks like your using a headmount?
