Keep Em pumping Matt there’s only a million orphan wells In your part of the country get em all lol
Yes sir! I'm trying. Either get them and produce'em or we'll get them plugged.
Impressive and love the ingenuity! Ballin on a budget with the paint booth 🙌 What brand/style gun do you use and what type of ventilation do you have?
@@jerrydrosell that's been several years ago. But I'm thinking at that time I was using either a Devilbis or Finnex. And that whole shop was the booth. I used the side overhead door for my filtered suction wall.
That's what you do in northern Oklahoma too! First day on the job was in Freedom, Oklahoma. Roughneck. Got on the first roustabout crew I could. Paid double and work was more my style. Mechanic by trade.
@@richwood8650 I love mechanic/roustabout work.
Gotta keep em pumping brother keep the videos coming from ya Cajun friend
@@micahsattler1268 yes sir. As long as there's work, we'll keep on rockin' along.
@ there so many abandoned wells where I live and quite a few still going but if I had money I would definitely buy a workover and pole rig and pumps etc tools and try and revive them even if they make a few bbls a day turnkey have my own rig and stuff to work them plus a vac trailer and oil do it all ya know
@micahsattler1268 it's so rewarding. These old abandoned wells are worth working on. I say do it. Just takes a little time and money. I'm so glad we've started this journey in our lives.
@ yes it’s I’m very jealous if I’m ever in your part of the world I’ll have to get with you for a tour lol or ride along so ya can teach me a few things lol .
@micahsattler1268 I think that would be a good time.
Are you working for someone or it’s that a family business I love it pumper roustabout workover and ya get to take the wife to work with you
@@micahsattler1268 we own the service company. Been doing it since 2008.
So you gauge for them roustabout work em over go into abandoned fields and try to revive old wells I love it
@micahsattler1268 yes sir. So many abandoned wells. They've still got life in them. If we don't start doing something with them, the state will have to plug them.
@@mattdavis6636 they pretty much give them away if you wana take them to do something with it so they don’t have to plug and yes so what if they make a few bbls of oil I’m sure most them wells don’t make much water bc their shallow
@micahsattler1268 that's right. And that's out plan. Helping them helps us.
I enjoy the Oklahoma oilfield shorts!!!
@@danielprince2656 thank you.
Lol
Why is a tik tok logo on your UA-cam short?
We create our videos through tiktok then just upload them here.
Using the chem totes to test out old wells you just got back pumping?
Exactly. They're super handy for that.
@ I’m sure no doubt this little wells probably don’t make much water that shallow
Typically not much at all.
Yes sir. Start safe out there.
Keep em pumping brother I’m from south Louisiana full of old wells and working in Montana gotta keep em goib
You know Matt. Your's is the only video I watch over and over. I admire your work ethics and a man who doesn't mind working by himself. I wrote many. And I do mean many. Safety Procedures that were in affect until they discontinued some of the Rigs.
Well thank you. I really appreciate that. I truly enjoy what I do. If I were rich, I could easily do this for free. Thank you again for your views and encouraging words.
Woman power, I don’t see her doing a damn thing, and that’s the worlds smallest pipe or thread, 2 pipe wrenches, ya woman power I see the IRONy!
@@Kyle-e2w it's not pipe. Lol
Gotta keep the old fields alive still a viable resource
Mine didn’t look like that at all😂
The fuck is it all so clean for
@@tristinbranch5275 that was it's second job after refurb. What do you expect............cover it with oil and paraphin when it pulls out of the paint shop. 😂Smh
That's a great partner you got their brother... She's a keeper...
Yes sir. She's my bestie.
Keep ‘em pumping brother
Yes sir.
No rod wrenches???
Yes. But when the squares are rounded they hardly work.
Any kbars? God i hate them.
That's new terminology for me.
Yiu suck at wrenching rods but cool
Gotta keep ‘em alive and pumping props to ya brother
Yes sir. Thank you.
Keep fighting it all brother and don't let that liquid money stop flowing 👍 Could be worse.......they could all be running old worn out Arrows or Continentals etc on straight well gas with no scrubbers or constant gas pressure lol.....
It's nice to see other folks out there understand. And yes, nice to hear the old hit and miss, but electricity sure made the job easier.
Just wish he would wear a hardhat. They're so cheap.
Wow, and I thought my wells were junky! 😂😂😂
@@mattdavis6636 lol! Those SWD pumps are top notch! Way to take care of your stuff.
@@our1980shouse ok. Thank you.
Would probably be best if you'll just get off my page if you don't like what you see. After watching your videos, this could easily get out of hand.
@@mattdavis6636lmao this reads like "my anger is stronger than my will power and my feelings are hurt" Be calm friend, the only enemy is the devil
@@mrping2603 you can read it however you please. Sounds like we live in two different worlds, and that's fine. You do you and I'll do me. I think we'll all get along just fine that way.
Pa DEP would fine the shit out of you and put you under. We spill a coffee cup full of brine it’s dig down 3 feet and haul off as hazardous waste
Awesome vid man! Cool song too!.😎👍
Thank you. 😁
Do they still have a lot of well pumping in your area of southern ok?
Yes, there is.
@@mattdavis6636 about how many wells do you take care of you own partnership in them or work for somebody?
The beutifal bangles😂
Black gold Texas tea Keep digging.
How deep are theses walls
They range anywhere from 2500' to 125'.
How’s the production per day 2 or 3 bbls
It varies from well to well
Wrenching rods by hand
They do not make them like they used
Lol, like a micro drilling rig, so funny to see
Amigo esos trabajos no se pueden hacer solos, tienen que haber por lo menos 2 personas más. Muy bueno su video pero no le caigan a mentira a las personas de que solo es suficiente, hay otras personas que también desean trabajar.
Where are the overalls and helmet?
For what?
Good sh!t 😊
Hell yeah 🇺🇲
Love that movie Shallow Wells with a pole one-man crew out there by yourself no rush no hurry
I love what I do.
Old single drum pole spent a lot of time on one
Spent a lot of time on a pole rigg
Good times.
I would love to work with him I'll help him out that's the easiest drilling job I've been 🙂💪
Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Your rig call it what you like
You didn't hurt my feelings. Didn't even know what you were talking about. I can appreciate your need for correcting someone. Whatever makes you feel good "buddy". It was a simple autocorrect issue. Lol
It's Wichtex buddy
Ok. And......?
Funny down here in Texas our phones don't auto correct to stuff that's not even a word. Have a nice day
Up here in Oklahoma we don't tell people to "have a nice day" when it's 9 o'clock at night. We say "have a nice night." So enjoy whatever it is you're enjoying. 🤣🤣🤣
That's a service rig for you honkies out there working at the oil patch😊
How you keep bsw down on such heavy oil? Have treaters run fluid thru? Up here in Bakker they have recycle pumps run to all production tanks and water if you have high parph or water u can pull bottom push in another tank or use it to flip it from tank thru production valve thru treater back thru service line
We do pretty much the same thing here. Once there's enough we recycle for road material or sell it.
@@mattdavis6636 what’s the gravity on it
@@micahsattler1268 basically the same gravity as water.
@@mattdavis6636 that heavy ?
Good ole stripping job
Is it all black heavy oil?
Not all, but mostly.
I’m from south Louisiana we have tons of old Wells took care of some for a while before comin workin in eastern Montana. You have some good producing wells
They're no barn burners, but combined production does pretty well. Just a bunch of old stripper wells in the mix of a bunch of good ones.
@@mattdavis6636 what part of Oklahoma

@@mattdavis6636 love to see them old wells still going are they still drilling new wells in the area? I have seen them do mini frack receive old fields in Montana made me a believer
@@micahsattler1268 They do still drill them like this locally, but it's not very often. Most are going for deep and much bigger returns.
Mom and Pop operation don't see much of that anymore
Very rare. We got lucky when we found each other.
