Pattern Infinity

I make videos that are related to patterns and math, mostly the Mandelbrot Set, due to its infinite complexity, and beauty.

How to make the Mandelbrot Set in Desmos with Math Formulas!
This video shows you how to make the Mandelbrot Set in Desmos with colour, but I didn't want to do too many iterations or it would get boring, so I did 15 iterations and it also shows you how you can make Julia sets in Desmos. x is the real number and y is the imaginary number for the Julia sets. This graph also shows you 1 other fractal: the Celtic fractal. The Burning Ship and the Tricorn fractals can also be easily accessible.

Clock Simulation in Desmos with Math Formulas!
Переглядів 34614 днів тому
This Desmos graph is a clock, with some features, including a stopwatch, timezones, and time calibration. It will almost never go out of sync with the actual time, and the clock hands move smoothly. The link is in the comments, and I will make this better in the future. The clock loses about half a second per day and is very accurate.
Mandelbrot Set in Desmos! (100 iterations)
Переглядів 224Місяць тому
This is my first video that I used Desmos in, and it has 100 iterations, like the title says, and you can make other fractals in Desmos too, like the Burning Ship fractal, and the Mandelbar/Tricorn fractal, which are variants of the Mandelbrot Set. I also managed to get to the Perpendicular Burning Ship fractal somehow. I'll try to find other fractals, but here is the link for the Desmos graph:...

Geometric Shapes II - Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom

Mandelbrot Zoom - Remastered
Переглядів 1123 місяці тому
This is a remastered version of my first video, ua-cam.com/video/EOXnPZYAork/v-deo.html and the only changes are that I fixed the bugs from the first video and the length of the video. I only used the first song from my first video because of the duration change. I wished I could pick the same thumbnail, but I didn't get it, so I used the most interesting one. The point that I zoomed close to i...

0 1i zoom to approximately 2x10^-30 with around 30000 iterations There is a couple major glitches at 0:56 and 1:55 respectively. I hope the glitches can be resolved in future videos. Check out my second video! ua-cam.com/video/kbq1MOZCmA4/v-deo.html

Can you make a tutorial to make the Julia set?
Maybe later on...
Most popular video as of right now!
Make it zoom out at the end
I don't know if I can do that...
@ just put the video in reverse and boom
Desmos supports complex numbers *mind blown*
I decided to not use the complex mode because it would be harder to do other fractals.
What does the . symbol mean? LIke in 2z.xz.y + y ?
It meana accessingba component of a complex number. z is a complex number, it equals a + b*i and the x and y correspond to a and b
@ Thanks for the answer! I didn't know what that meant, but I still knew how to make the fractal.
Can you give the link? (I Subbed From Ur Comment On My Video)
Sure! Here's the link: www.desmos.com/calculator/yfr0cqhxvi
Nicely done … how you type so fast … did you memorize the formulas?
Yes, I did memorize the formulas, so it's easier to type these formulas faster.
I will do a part 2 later on to show how to make a colour palette for the fractal. I'll also show a lot of other fractals you can make in this graphing calculator.
I have an idea... Let's all watch this at 3:46:35 PM so that the clock will be perfectly in sync with the actual time!
Was that just a coincidence the first time I opened it?
Very interesting ,how do you make the time accurate?
Just calibrate the time, and also, dt is how many milliseconds it takes for the ticker to tick, and in this case, it is 16 to 17 milliseconds.
How does time zone work here?
@@benl3247 For timezones, slide v to vary the timezone, and 1 means it's 1 hours ahead of the UK, or the UTC+0 timezone. -1 means it's 1 hour behind.
www.desmos.com/calculator/pwhqln3db2 You're welcome for the link, viewers.
The fact that you can render almost perfectly a mandelbrot on desmos Is crazy
Yeah... I have one with 200 iterations...
The only problem with this is that you can only zoom to about 1 x 10^9x...
You also found this video from my comment in this video: ua-cam.com/video/4-o9jQhkkck/v-deo.html&lc, and I think so, because how else would you find my channel?
neat!
Thanks! Anyways, how did you find my video? One of my comments? A UA-cam search? My channel page?
@pattern_infinity I found it via comment
@@NovaFractal From the comment that I left on your video? Also, I edited my comment.
Such mesmerizing colour and pattern! Well made video ~ 👍
Thanks!
6:50 not the Mandelbrot Set
I accidentally deleted my comment.. and here is the new link. www.desmos.com/calculator/lkv6pkcczx
Yes, I am re-uploading this Short, and making another Short later.
First from viewer
Since this video has by far been my most popular one excluding Shorts, I am remaking this video for a higher quality.
Nicely done 🎉
Thanks!
I accidentally picked the wrong side to zoom on, I'll remake some past videos for better quality.
Also, this video now shows the zoom level as you zoom in farther into the Mandelbrot Set.
love the zoom level
@@benl3247 Thanks! It took a bit more editing to make.
Please take note that I might re-upload videos to improve the resolution, but should I re-upload this one? I feel like the resolution is a bit low.
mesmerizing
Thanks! More videos and shorts coming soon!
If you noticed that this Short has a higher resolution, you are correct! It has 950p resolution but there are parts with lower resolution than others, but that's the same for all my other videos.
How on earth did this one get 170 views in a day?! That's the most I've seen for any of my videos for now! Anyways, by far my most popular Short, but why did it just stop getting views?
Great job, Your video editing skill is getting Better and better 🎉
Thanks
Very flowery
At 0:23, you can see shapes that are similar to flowers, but the petals making it up look like flowers too.
The reason for only going for 1 of these so called "minibrots" is because if go deeper and find a second one, it's going to take too many iterations, and also, if I go for another one, it may have detail you can't see so it doesn't look like 1 color because the colors are too dense, but the software automatically changes the color density.
In the first 9 minutes of my video including the premiere, how did it get 14 views? That's way more than I have ever had before!
🎉😊🎉❤🎉😊🎉
70 views!🎉
I am making a part 2 of this, with triangles, nonagons, and so on, but they will look more distorted. Since this is impossible for the regular 2nd power Mandelbrot, I am using the third power one.
Which part is the elephant valley ?
The elephant valley is around 0.25 + 0i and you can see the closer you get to that point, the more black will be on the screen. If you tried to keep zooming onto that point, it will just be a boring line, even if you had infinite iterations.
It’s of higher definition than the previous video!
What do you mean by definition? Do you mean resolution?
Yes resolutions
Unfortunately, I don't know the resolution of the first Short I made, until November 28, and I checked the resolution, and it's the same?!
second short video 🎉❤
Next video's coordinates: Real: -0.7503554603449243017517 Imaginary: 0.0152011829507765355792
Which part is the scepter valley?
It is the part between the 2 black disks/bulbs around -1.25 + 0i.
Nice shape!
Thank you!
More videos and shorts coming soon!
I was working on another video, but it took multiple days to complete, but if I do upload that video, it might be in 240p or 360p to make it faster.
🎉❤❤❤🎉
