I worked at Trugreen you actually mound up around 120lbs of lime in spreader it is much finer then fertilizer

You are lucky - your grass is still green. Last year was rhe First and last year with Trugreen and that was the first year that most of the lawn turned yellow in the fall and most of it is still yellow now.

I've heard several times from ex employee's that they only make 1/2 strength fertilizer to cut cost bc who would know right? They are all about money and no customer service # ripoff!

You hired a nationwide chain that pays their workers peanuts and expected a different outcome? I have a college degree in growing grass. Almost all of my clients were in multimillion dollar homes. Find someone who is local and has been properly trained and certified by the state if you want the job done right.

This so called trained professional trugreen technician shows up at my house at around 8am and knocks on my door I open the door and the guy is all jittery and sweating and it was only about 60 degrees out . I said bro are you alright He said truegreen overloads him with so many stops that he loads up on the caffeine and power drinks but I think the dude was all coked up or possibly on meth . I told to do whatever he needed to do and I'll sign off on it . I felt bad for the guy

TruGreen been off my list for years. I started doing mine myself. That way it will get done and I know where my money went. Y’all might wanna do the same

Lazy personified. Guys like that give the company a bad name. 2 guys could have done 2 spreaders. Instead the other guy did nothing. Was probably on his phone in the truck.

I am a service manager for Trugreen , and seeing this video, makes me sick to my stomach. Whoever taught these guys to treat a yard should be thrown in that lake behind the house.

Same experience with Trugreen, was supposed to fertilize my entire yard (1/3 acre) and caught the tech (loose term of the word) on camera with a bucket sprinkling the fertilizer around the walkway to give the appearance that they were there. Time spent from arrival to departure 7.00 minutes, which was mostly utilized to document his trip in the truck! Will NEVER use and/or recommend them!!!!

TruGreen like other companies can’t control what their employees do , u don’t see videos of the good lawn techs doing good jobs , my neighbor has tru green and his lawn is amazing , but he has the same tech come out all year pretty much to service his lawn , if I could afford it I’d do it based on that. Sad that this is the norm for work ethic , and it’s every where , fast food , customer service , etc .. bet this lawn tech be pissed if they half paid him like he did this lawn tho

I mow lawns in Dallas for a living and am steadily acquiring knowledge about the industry and how to maintain a beautiful happy healthy lawn. I have never ever used their service but from everything I’ve seen and the yards and property’s I’ve seen them maintain and apply products to they do not do a good job. I recommend doing your own research and inquiring with neighbors and friends about what they use and the services they get to help you with your lawn.

this is what started me on learning and doing all of my own lawn care fertilizations and such. they did not know i was home and came and just put a sign in my yard and drove off. happened 3 times

This is why I don't pay for this service with any lawn service anymore. Every body is out to fyck the customer over and take their money. I'll do it my self

And this is the reason that I've been doing it myself for as long as I've lived in this house (almost 30 years). The only hiring I do is for spreading 12 yds of mulch. And my yard looks better than the one's in the neighborhood - that use commercial companies to do their yards.

Probably selling the leftovers to make extra $$$. And get greedy.

With all the time it took to check if there were cameras and to see if you were home they could’ve just done the work the right way.

They didn’t even pretend to blow the residual granular off the driveway and road…

This happened to us with true Green, we got rid of them right away, and never use their service again😤

I asked TruGreen in Frederick, MD for an estimate. I was home all day and have cameras everywhere. No one ever showed but I got a text message outlining what they found and what tier of service I should sign up for.

He spent more time looking for cameras than actually fertilizing 😂😂😂

We had spring green for 3 years and security cameras we watched when they stopped at our house the guy went around the outside of the big yard with a push spreader and not inside the yard one time down the middle in front yard complained about it more than one time our yard looked better before they were hired always had different guys there that didn't care so I called told them don't come back here I'm done with you I then got a spreader and a Ryan 36" core plug aerator treat lawn 2 times a year myself it looks good I'm saving money they charged me $65 every month crooked bastards

Thanks, Tim, for exposing the blatant ripoff scammers. Hope you reported those thieves to Tru Green - What an embarassment to have such low-lifes on the payroll. Those hoodlums give companies they "WORK" for, a REALLY bad name. And how much did they charge you to walk around your lawn?

I have 18 years experience in this industry and have my own business. Trugreen is a rip off. And if you call them in the fall for aeration you already made a huge mistake.

First guy was looking for cameras my friend! Second looking for cameras! I would suggest getting ready for a break in! These so-called workers were checking out how to break and looked at the neighbors as second in line……

They killed my lawn and would come sit in the truck for 15 min then leave a sign saying that they sprayed my yard. Total scam company .

Trugreen sucks. I spray lawns in Georgia and out of 10 companies in my town they are at the bottom of the barrel.

yeah i've tried chemlawn once but it seemed like every time they applied the liquid i would lose a shrub. So i fertilize myself with a spreader and literally its less than an hour for me to do the 10,000 Sq. feet i have to treat. And no burned out shrubs.

Just did my interview for this job and I didn’t even start yet and I’d of loved to do that yard or any yard just wait I’ll make my own videos

My neighbor across the street used TruGreen. I used to watch them spray something on the lawn. It didn't seem to do anything. I used the cheapest weed and feed I could find and my yard looked way better than theirs.
