Yes!! Somewhat Similar situation here. I have many acquaintances here, but it just gets harder to make friends as we age I guess. To our surprise, my daughter adjusted the fastest. I think it a story of many of us. we leave our home town in search of better future, but in our heart we keep loning for the warmth of our hometown in unfamiliar setting.
