1800 watt amp trying to power 2400rms subwoofer your amp is under powering your subs going to cause your amp to overheat get a 2400rms or 2600rms amp you been fine

Ok but like what's the best brand? Idk how to hook up anything like that. I have an 2002 Ford expedition but I want a 10,000 watt system but these sound shops here in Nashville charging too damn much. So how can I go about getting all the equipment without spending damn near $20,000 which is what 2 different sound shops here in Nashville quoted me and that's just for a 5,000 watt system.

Got the 15 in a custom box I built tuned at 32 hz my stock head unit is attached to climate control but it has a stock amplifier so I just grabbed the LC2i Pro to get that lost bass roll off and it clean it up with the ideal voltage for my amp.

@5:49 PLEASE tell me you aren't running full range thru those. Sounds like it (i know hard to tell on UA-cam) but also sound like the voicecoil(s) are cooked. That higher pitched distortion sound I'm hearing. Hope I'm wrong. They will still play for little bit but the shorting VC will cause the amp to heat up and can burn out too. Again, hope i'm wrong.

Amp overheating due to ohm load. Those are probably 2ohm min load & are probably parallel to parallel loaded @.05 ohms. Recommend series parallel load @2ohms. Ohm laws it took me forever to figure that ish out when I first started doing my own installs. Wondered why I was blowing speakers and amps. There's no positive and negative connections no more, it's all dual connections with three different ways to wire it for different ohm pulls. That amp by far for probably 30 plus years holds the title of best bang for your buck 💪🏾

Im sad I bought dual comp r 12s off somebody online. I was saving alot of money over time. Bought a new kicker cxa1800.1 and a new kicker pkd1 1/0gauge wite kit and new bass nob and head unit. Got it professionally installed then found out the subs were tampered with in the box and re wired wrong and the amp basically blew the left sub that was wired opposite and blew 2 fuses. So thats why I'm looking at this video cuz I might buy these subs. I have a bmw e90 328i and the car produces 185amps and is a beast at keeping the 1 12 comp r I have playing at max power. It sounds good but its not enough lol
