Is that a Tama SLP Gum Wood snare? I’m literally sitting at my kit as I type this, playing that same snare, and it looks strikingly similar. Could be the spruce, as it’s slightly darker with thicker grain. Either way, thanks for all the demos Meinl. Really helps us pick the best of the best.

haven't tried these in particular, but i have tried nylon brushes before and they are very unpleasant to play with
