Tengo el mismo problema y pensaba en poner cinta doble cara ... pero no sabia como quitar la pieza. Gracias por subir este video es de mucha ayuda. Ahora lo intentaré con la confianza de que si funciona .
is that 3M glue that you stick with the plastic part?thank you
@@jerrythenorth 3M Double Sided Tape, Heavy Duty Waterproof Foam Mounting Tape. For automotive use.
@@carvinglife thank you so much
Will this work for a CX9?
The bolts that hold it on would be worth checking. They probably use the same hardware.
your video is absolutely captivating! You have a real talent for explaining things in a way that's both clear and engaging. Please continue the excellent work!👍
Wow, thank you!
Beautiful video! Thank you very much for sharing! Like 17
I appreciate that. Thank you.
HORRIBLE MUSIC,,,,, LOOKS VERY AMERICAN,,, I´BEEN IN GREECE 4 TIMES, I STUDIED GREEK,,, I PREFER THE BOUZOUKIA
💙🇬🇷👍
Wow !
Thanks a lot for making this video. It certainly helped me figure out where to tighten the loose nuts. I put thread lockers on them as well.
Glad to hear it helped.
Did not show removal.
What wrench are you using?
10mm deep socket. It’s metric… it’s been a few years since I did it. 10mm or 12mm
Hi what month was this filmed? We will be visiting there early October. Thank you.
Around the 9th of September. I hope your trip goes great.
What brand citrus clraner
Goo Gone.
Maybe show how to take trim off.
Very helpful. Glad to see it's not only my garage that looks like a mad scientist lab 😂.
I’m about to do this soon on my 2016.5, both those black pieces are driving me nuts hahah just rattles on every bump
Yeah, its disappointing how many of them rattled loose. Make sure you check the bolts that hold the spoiler on as well! Those ones make a good amount of noise as well.
Is it a squeaking like “chirp” noise??? I think this is the issue I’m having!!!
@@matthewmayberry22 no not a squeaking noise b it rattling noise. I’ve fixed the rattling though. Just used small pieces of double sided tape and placed it in each side underneath the black triangle for the spoiler. Thank God the rattling is gone.
@@matthewmayberry22 I’ve placed the double sided tape right at the tip of the black triangle piece. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you tap on it and it hits the glass.
@@matthewmayberry22 we had a squeaking chirp noise. its probably the bolts have rattled loose or off. just grab your spoiler and move it up and down gently.
venice amore 🇮🇹💙❤
Look slike you stayed in one of the farm places outside of Florence. Was it difficult to find parking in Florence each day?
We did stay at a farm. It was just south of Chiesanuova. We would Drive to Galluzzo in the morning, there is free parking on the south end of town a block away from the bus stop. Then we would Bus into Florance for the day. There was always parking at that spot. You can see it pretty good on Google maps.
I want to watch femely life style.
Beautiful place butiful pepole.
I want to see lively. How I can ?
You need to go visit!
Loved Venice and this video! Very pleasant to watch. Great job! Btw we were there in October 2022. Weather was great and the crowds not too bad.
Thanks, i was missing one nut and the others where loose... fixed that and no more rattle. Didnt have to remove the spoiler. So no broken clips 🙂
A nice easy fix!!! Awesome!
Same exact here
wht kinda tools did u use to remove & tighten those screws? tried with mine and and its very hard to get in especialy those 2 in the middle
I believe it's a 10mm deep socket you would need.
Thanks for sharing. In 2016, I was there for less than twelve hours; since then I love Venice.
Less than 12 hours! That's not enough time. I spent 4 days walking around and still didint see one whole side. Let alone all the other islands off of it.
Grazie!!bello
Linda Linda doce romantica estive duas vezes amei veneza maravilhosa
Enjoyed that. We spent a few days there between Christmas and New Year so it was nice to be reminded of some of the places we visited
A spoken commentary would have made this amazing! Beatiful images. The initial concertina/accordian music looping almost drove me over the edge.
Thanks for the suggestions. I really do regret my music choice.... Next time.
Was just there and I miss it soo much! 😢😩😭😭😁🥰
Es difícil no ver Arte en Venecia, las esquinas son postales!!!
I liked this video compared to a lot of others as there is less talking and you can hear what's going on more. Great scenery and good information on sites provided. Well done!
Thank you.
What was the time of year you visited? Looks beautiful.
It was the end of September the weather was a nice temperature and not much wind. Definitely a great time to explore around Venice.
Wow 😁
I felt that way a few times exploring Italy. Some of the places do not look real they are so picturesque.
1:00 That's beautiful beyond words.
Thanks for posting! Turned out all 4 of the nuts holding it on had fallen completely off and were stuck in the bottom of the lift gate. I didn’t have to take off any of the clips (or break them) I was able to just put some thread locker on the nuts and tighten them up as much as possible. Those middle ones you can’t fit a tool on, they they are as finger tight as can be with thread locker. Hopefully it’ll last.
The thread lock should do the trick!
Same thing with me! I’m going to see if I can find the bolts, if not I’ll order them!

I think cleaning with alcohol and cleaning out with a toothbrush is good enough. Citrus cleaner I think is a gimmick.

where was the location of this limoncello farm you visited ?
It was an experience you could book on air b and b and also trip advisor. It's called La Masseria Farm Experience. You tour around the farm then they have wine tastings and a home cooked italian meal. Then they end with some lemoncello. It was also called Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting.
How r u?!Thank you.you shared fantastic , talk you later. ;))
Carving~suepr-that is good vlog~ )
Thank you.
Took me a few tries to figure out the squeak too. I initially thought it was the gas struts or their attach points, then I figured it was probably the hatch latch mechanism. Lubed everything, but still had the squeak. I finally shook the spoiler and replicated my squeak issue. A couple of the spoiler nuts had fallen off the bolts. Ordered some new nuts, installed them with LocTite and am now several years squeak-free. My spoiler side plastic trim rattles a bit when shaken, but I cannot hear it inside the car so haven’t yet felt the need to secure those trim pieces better. Just this week, I had the driver side flip-down sun visor fail to stay stowed. It started to just flop down and would not stay stowed against the headliner. Replaced it this afternoon. Also zip-tied the driver side leather seat tab brackets under the seat that kept popping loose. Now I need to Shoe Goo the front driver and passenger vinyl door trim pieces above the arm rest that have started to lose adhesion and are separating from the door panel. And also now my passenger rear window no longer rolls up fully, leaving about 1/4” gap. Need to pull the door panel tomorrow and see what I need to do to fix this issue. I quite like the little 2014 CX-5 but after 8 yrs and 48,000 miles the build quality is showing its shortcomings. I have had my 2002 VW GTI for 20 yrs now, and haven’t had any similar annoying little issues as I’m now having with the CX-5.
I have not had those other issues with my mazda yet. But that is allot of little things to go wrong. They certainly add up to a large annoyance. Good luck with your mazda.
@@carvinglife Fortunately they’re mostly simple and inexpensive fixes. The window issue is the most annoying. Hope to have it solved tomorrow. Seems something supporting the window regulator has broken or come loose, causing some excess play in the window travel. The motor and regulator seem to be working fine mechanically.
Thanks a lot for making this video. It certainly helped me figure out where to tighten the loose nuts. I put thread lockers on them as well. On the lower part of the spoiler, the black side piece; I put vhb sticky tape to remove the rattling noise.
Nice job man
Can I remove only the black side pieces or must I remove the entire spoiler with them? Thank you for the video btw. You did great.
6:22 if you look around that time you will see the black platic side pieces are actually attached to the spoiler itself. Good luck
@@carvinglife I see. I'll remove the spoiler then. Thanks again. Good luck too.
How did you get the 3 clips off they keep the spoiler on in addition to the bolts?
www.mcx5.org/rear_spoiler_removal_installation-463.html
When you detach the side clips and have removed all bolts holding the spoiler on you should be able to pull up on the spoiler and pop out the three clips that hold it on. The link i attached should explain it better.
@@carvinglife yeah it says detach them, but not how. Will pulling on the spoiler release them, is there a release on the interior side of the tailgate? Just worried I'm gonna break them. Thanks !
The three clips left are ones that you literally need to pull out. One by one Support the spoiler close to the clips and give a tug straight up it should pop out. Start on one side and go to the other. You are going to need a little leverage so it helps to stand on something so you can pull properly. Also, i had no idea what i was doing when i made this video! i just wanted to help other people that had no information either. Good luck 👍
@@zjh908 watch 7:35 and see how easy the clips poped into the white platic on the top of the tail gate. Just pull back and up and they should pop out just like they went in.
Fucking awesome work here! Thanks for vid!
Great video. Do you know where I can find out how to remove the trim pieces at the top of the hatch to get at the spoiler fasteners that you point out in the video? Thanks!
www.mcx5.org/mazda_cx_5_service_repair_manual-197.html
I would go to mazda if you cant find any information. Sadly there there is no information thats why i made the video.... i was just so frustrated i figured it might help someone. I broke the clips trying to remove them on both sides... so i am not a professional by any means.
@@carvinglife Sorry, I needed to be more specific. I meant the inside trim. You showed how to pull off the top inside piece but I wasn’t sure how to remove the rest of the trim on the inside. I’ll do some trial and error and see what happens. :P. Thanks for the reply!
Awesome, go to the link i sent you. Go to the door/lids and hood/truck link. Then go to lift gate trim removal. It has upper and lower trim walk through
Fantastic bro
Thank you.
