we have a female cane corso and she's friendly but always watching

I care for a 4 month old cane corso and he is a handful, to say the least. I make him sit and stay when I serve him food and it's amazing. The problem is he gets excited when he sees people and jumps all over them, so I just have to keep on working with him. He has learned to respect 2 of my 3 cats...the hard way. Other than that he's a real sweetheart. My vet says they're just like kids, some learn faster than others. Just have to let them know who's the boss!!!😊

I'd prefer a presa over a cane corso but they are too expensive to buy one so this is the main reason I took a corso

The one we had when I was younger was naturally fat… we tried to watch her weight but nothing worked.

Had a gorgeous Presa Canario, she was so protective but so sensible the way she protected, she was so loving and an angel, got a Cane Corso, he’s very protective, he’s a gorgeous boy a big softy too, both very intelligent

My sister and I grew up with a Chihuahua dot we weren't real little when we got her maybe 8 and 10 I don't remember anymore dot of course she was our dog and she never growled or snapped at us we loved having her sleep with us and play with us she only lived to be 11 and I don't think my parents knew exactly what happened they just came home and she was gone

Training training training. The dogs need to be taught to bite and hold. When to bite. Any dog needs to be trained to do protection work. Don't expect them to make those decisions on their own. I knew a man who thought that the dog would naturally defend him, he was killed in a robbery, the dog did not defend him. Training, training, training. Good luck Have fun

I got my little guy from a rescue. We have no idea what his first 5 years were like, so it's been an adventure. He has a lot of health issues, so I don't expect him to live as long as a normal Chi would. But, I love him even if he can be a real jerk, and I want him around for as long as possible! If my husband will let me get another Chihuahua when this one is gone, I want to get it as a puppy. Still from a rescue, though, if I can. I have a feeling it will be a whole different experience...

I actually have a mixed-breed of the two! Such great dogs. For me, what I wish I had known before getting him was their sensitivity. How they need to stay alert and control their environment (as per their initial job and function), making them sensitive to noise and stress more than other breeds. Of course, I've many chill BC or AS but mine and some others go up to a point when they get stressed so bad they need medication or some oils to stop being overwhelmed. Also, yeah, smart, but smart also means they know perfectly how to get what they want or go open the drawers to steal some food! Lol the predation instinct/herding instinct is so strong in some of them...mine has never seen a sheep but has been rounding us, and unfortunately joggers and bikes. This is a serious thing I see with many of them (or even cars for some mini Australian Shepherds)...mine just got better at letting them pass by now that he is 3,5yo...but he often just runs after them, barks and circles around them until they stop...which is natural for them but I suppose scary for people. A real problem for me, so I can't let him off the leach that much...Anyway, great dog and great video ^^

Recommendation.... NEVER teach your dog it is OK to Bite you or a Family member even friendly. GSD's and BMals are a different Breed need special training (mouthing as a puppy)..... is a NO /NO with Family Never ...... Never you in a suit or towel,....Your odor is a NEVER BITE situation. P E R I O D. !!!! I have had 5 fantastic GSD 's all would die and protect "THEIR " Family all my 5 saved a family member from a dangerous situation. But nipping IMO is a NO NO//// A sorry I forgot ( Dogs View ) could cost limbs.

I would only recommend getting a chihuahua if you are mature. Most of the time, they will bite children. They are also very loyal and want to go with you everywhere. Plan on vacationing with your dog. They do not do well at a kennel.

Only one thing from my German is differnt: He like to watch smaller Animal. Sometime we visit a Zoo with him and he enjoy it. Second: he loves Childern. Anytime we meet Children during a walk, we need to do with them or stay for a cuddle. He loves puppies, ig we meet a puppy, he make itselfe small as posible to comfort the puppy.but he still show the puppy the line you don´t step over.. my German loves water: river , lake or sea.. he al jumps in. and he is powerfull. he had a whight from 40 kilogramms and he pulled a , i don´t know in englisch. smething to get pull a tree out of the Forrest witsh 2 Horses. AND.. He loves the Vet. Even if he hasl some Allergeis and we visit the Vet very often. That only bad thingis: my German don´t fell some pain. He broke the Tail and the Leg, but he don´t noticed it. If you can find a German, with an old Shape, it´s the best Dog you can have. Only: if you buy some: Visit the owner before you buy them! Sorry for my bad English.

Absolutely the best dog I've ever owned.

My Malinois is the best dog I ever had. I love all the dogs I had before, but as explained in this video, most Malinois are e different level as compared to most other breeds. I enjoy every single moment I can spend with him. Luckily I found a very professional trainer who had experience with working dogs. I've learnt so much.

I love my rescue Dutch Genisis. Never wanted a puppy but it was me or animal control, she is about 2yr now, saved from a breeder (she had pups at 1 yr) Geni is now working with my American Bulldog Dozer... to take his place. Dozer is service/protection animal, he hears for me as I only have 1 ear at 60%. SADLY he is starting to loose his hearing :( Geni is learning from him, door knock, alarm clock, microwave or dryer buzz. Took me 18 months to train Dozer as he came with A LOT (at 5yrs old) of unacceptable behaviors... especially to peeps in uniform.. any uniform. Geni learned basic English & sign commands in 1 day!

These dogs are gorgeous but people need to stop clipping their ears,they are so beautiful with their proper ears.!!! Very sad the way some people treat animals.

Humans can really ruin a good breed.
