Mmmm not. Baker style wouldnt gave the hh on that spot and not at unisound with bd. The goal for ginger was to have a conversation between his diferent instruments...but more important, you would have jazz...and this is neather
i mean i am absolutely stunned at the arrogance of this statement. i have studied ginger deeper than just about anybody on this earth, ive done an obsessive amount of research over the past 9 years. u are flat out wrong. this drummer actually plays the african rhythms quite close to the way ginger would!! in fact, it sounds a bit closer to kofi baker, gingers son. but the difference is that ginger had MANY different variations of this 12/8 feel that he played over the years. so right now what u need to do is watch these videos on youtube to see how wrong u are: -ginger baker clinic at the musicians institute -ginger baker in greece 1986, very rare footage -ginger bakers ‘africa’ solo 1990 -ginger baker, max roach, tony williams trading solos in italy 1995

Hows ot holding up? Thinking of maybe getting some. I do want neusonic or classic maples. As those would be forever drums. Nt sure if hese are up to that same standard being asian and all,maple or not. Heard some good things, and some bad things.

I'd imagine the construction is a little cheaper n quicker, with obviously less time taken to o everything.including the wrap,of which they just glue on.whereas USA, they apply the finish to the flat plys,than they roundform the shells (I have no idea how they do that) I'd imagine it makes the wrap almost seem like part of the drum.ive had wrapped drums before here little care was put in to applying the wrap, and it doesn't take long for it to start sagging which looks terrible in light
@@NintenDubCentennial series isn’t a wrap. I’ve had one for years no issues. Great drums just not as many options.
