This is our little walkabout Staro Stefanovo, a beautiful Bulgarian village. It's such a lovely walk, and you can walk to the local woods which leads down to a pretty waterfall too. The first shop shown in our video is in the middle of the village. Thanks. Assuming your form the UK and only have British citizenship, you would be allowed to stay only 90 days in every 180 days. To buy a house you'd need to set up a company first thanks to Brexit. We're exempt as Anna is Bulgarian.

@@garyjackman4363 thank you! Yes it was easy before Brexit. Stay as long as you want and buy what you want. Now for example, as I'm British, I can't own land. So legally the land belongs to Anna 😂 But we share the house. She might start changing me for the apples!. There may be other ways around it but as far as I'm aware it's either by EU citizenship (some with Irish heritage get an Irish passport to open the door), or retirement with a suitable pension. Check 'Our Derelict Dream' on UA-cam they are quite knowledgeable.

The employer may not expect you to leave the country so it may get tricky if they phone you and hear the foreign tone all the time. But it will depend on the job to whether phone calls are required. I dont know WHAT job, but even a basic salary would be enough for BG. Wow, great piece of land especially with the mature fruit and nut trees. The property alone is worth the purchase price. However, the only word I hear when looking at all of the structures is BULLDOZER! Even when that building was at it's prime it was a pieced together pile of junk hardly worth the animals that were kept there. sorry, but, you'd be money ahead to clear that mess out of there and have a prefab brought in. You can take your suitcases on the boat. They store them at the front in a room there. It's a wet landing, so you'll get wet legs when getting out at Drake. Once arrived at Drake Bay, the crew take the bags from the store, carry them and leave them on the beach with the people, but also people wait at the rear of the boat and take their bags directly from the staff if they prefer, that's what we did, and carry them to the beach ourselves. The ''holes'' in the attic are for summer cooling. They are a way of taking advantage of ''the chimney effect''. The air pressure on the leeward side of the house is always slightly lower than the windward side so the hot air is sucked out of the loft.
