this is a quicksilver Super aftermarket version, mainly of the wings, except the dihedral is set like an MXL. first light after putting it together. 🤞

whew- thought for a sec you were going to go around 😁
Nice strip
Change your shorts after that one?
@@RickWB2009 👍😂
I think a go around would have been a safer decision, you kept drifting to left and even on touch down left wing dropped
Your area of the country is very pretty. Thank you
That was awesome you achieved approx 80mph. What's the upward parameters of your craft? It looked very fun..thanks for the ride
Yeah they are supposed to max out around 78 mph, But this is actually showing ground speed. I'm sure there was a little tailwind up there somewhere😂
Nothing like using just about every foot of runway, thing just wanted to float n float
😂 no kidding, I like landing down at that end. I'll probably put another throttle cable on that thing. Should help out
@@jcjammer1 I was guessing that saves on taxi time
Excellent landing!
Good looking Quicksilver!
New subscriber.
Good job! I fly an American Aerolights Eagle from the 80’s. Located in Ohio. Good video . That’s me above also , this is my ultralight page. Subscribe if you want .
Seen one in Arizona. They look fun.
Nice job! Good video setup. Thanks! I fly a vintage American Aerolites Eagle ultralight from the 80’s.
Definately coming in for a landing no matter what! That was badass!
Hell yeah, brother. Appreciate the text as well. Nice work
Good luck sir. Make sure you get some video.
Thanks man, I'm going to get a video of swapping the motor out by myself with just some ratchet straps and a few tools 😂
A real dumb dumb for flying in windy weather.
Looks fine from my house.
You should wear head gear to protect yourself

Great video with the air speed and altimeter is awesome, thanks for sharing
Great video absolutely awesome putting your altitude in the screen and your air speed, that was awesome, thanks for posting.
What vid equ did you use to get the video and AS,DIR&ALT? I want to make some vids of my MXL flying.
GoPro 10
Thanks for the video, I am nearly finished with a rebuild of a 1984 GT280 with later factory upgrades I got as a pile of parts last summer. Been flying my MX all winter, 21 flights in December but only 6 this new year. A wind shield and fiberglass nose would be great! Temperatures down to -31F is bit too cold for the open MX when the wind chill at 32mph is -71F. Will need to work out hanger space, only room for one assembled Quicksilver in the hanger on my grass strip.
Hey there Chuck. Not sure if this is the place to do this, but I have a GT 400 that I would love to offload. Fiberglass nose and windshield. I have no idea how the UA-cam community works so I don’t know how else to reach out.

Still wants to climb a little at Cruise speed, GoPro battery died. 👎
Sou fan desse aeromodelo
👍
Thanks Patrick
Stay away from those trees on approach on windy days, susceptible to mechanical turbulence in the lee.
Please, can you tell me the material from which the wings are sewn?🙏

Thank you very much
Good job 😊
Nice!
