This one was an interesting show because the songs were brand new and it was a festival. Phil Sgrosso, Otto Valentine (rip❤️) and I drove up together and Augie met us there to shoot the performance for a music video but I think the audio from the board was poor quality so we used the album version. Somehow this video got lost in the shuffle and we never used it but I always thought the energy and shots were rad. I don’t play this song that much because it’s non stop vocals for 4 minutes in a range that is very strenuous on my voice. I love the track and it still gives me goose bumps when the toms come in midway through. Maybe we’ll try to add it as a regular for touring.
Coincidentally the most listens on Spotify over any other track ever. I think I wrote this song in an hour.

This is the setup called Dub Machines where the intention is to be able to play faster more dynamic industrial without prerecorded sequences. I saw your show at the DNA Lounge in S.F. a couple of years ago. It's one thing to hear your songs, but a whole 'nother thing to watch you nail them in a live show. Remarkable. 👍🤘🤯
🤔 Is it just me, or is he lip syncing? Several shots show him away from the mic while vocals continue. Im not passing judgement! Maybe Briancrowley can provide some insight?
I was going to point out that his microphone is 3 different mics, along with the thing strapped to his neck is also a contact microphone. But I don't know if that explains it, I think I see what you are talking about. I'm not sure it's lip-syncing, but most likely his vocal sound is produced by multiple vocal layers and live he only does one layer with the others as backing tracks. I'm going to give the benefit of a doubt and say that is the explanation. Or possibly his voice was worn out by this time, and he needed to have all the vocals come from pre-recorded. Possibilities - I can't say for sure which it is.

The thing he is sliding with his hand also doesn’t match the bass and snare sounds consistently. Just from a first impression, it looks like the whole thing is prerecorded and playing from a laptop and he is just acting it out.

Industrial music made with "instruments" he made himself with his engineering knowledge. There's one or two short documentary videos on youtube if you're interested. This video is how he actually plays live, an absolutely crazy one man band set up

Mecha pilot
I just saw him a few months ago in Nijmegen, Netherlands. The sound actually blew out for a few seconds, he kept playing. It was hilarious because it was so loud, then silent, and he was still going, and he even laughed, then the sound came back on. It was incredible.
