This video is well shot but i agree with @Fudgeisreal on the loop being to long. Also, your voice is good enough that you should be doing voice-over in the cooking. Wish you success
i get you’re trying to do the looping video effect but it’s too much. and how is anyone supposed to know what’s in this without googling it

I swear every time I try to do this I put the brine jar back into my fridge to allow myself time to gather whatever I want to pickle and then by the time I come back to pickle my veg the jar full of brine has been thrown away because it’s “finished”. Kills my soul every time.

I always run out of brine by the time the pickles are gone. I use it all the time in other cooking.

You need to slowly add in oil like you would making a mayo. It’s an emulsification. Also yours is too thin. The more oil you incorporate the thicker the end result is.
My cucumbers became soft and wobbly. Really disgusting and nothing to do with crunch. Unfortunately

Are you sure vodka breaks down gluten? Afaik, you use it in batter because of how volatile it is, causing wild bubbling and therefore crispiness

Josh, great job....this is such a great basic dish that can be as is or altered with addition of whatever fits....mushrooms, shellfish, chilis, lemon - do more videos, you come across really well
