I hate to be that person but ..when in Europe Go to Southern Europe in the Winter/Spring months to escape the cold and experience 80+ farenheit weather (Also those countries are greener and lush at that time of year and less arid; like southern US because the heat hasn't set in and dried the grass etc). Then go to northern Europe destinations in late spring through to September for the blue skies, warmer temperature as well as a alfresco vibe!

We made our first trip to Paris in September and we are already making our return plans.

Go to a Tesco’s for a meal deal for lunch. I know they’ve gone up in price because of the terrible inflation, but it’s still a great deal packet of sandwiches, a drink and a packet of crisps for less than £5. Used to be £3.99 😢.

If you want to travel somewhere in the rest of Europe cheaply , now is the time before we are out of low season. Vienna about £50 return. With a budget airline obviously.

Do you do lectures and tutorials separately in the US? The discussion lecture may be more of a tutorial class format. Get prepared for most things being assessed in essay format too. Almost no multi choice tests. That gives less chance of getting a 100% too as in the states

It's good to see you getting out of London (amazing as it is). For future trips you might consider York, probably for a weekend. Oxford or Cambridge might be nice and definitely consider a trip to Brighton (my home) as it's only 1 hour by train from Victoria Station.
