You gotta mimic the hot to go instrumental into your lofi remake for it to sound coherent. Now it sounds like you just put her isolated vocals over some random lofi mix... It doesn't sound like hot to go at all, except for the bpm
Don't get me wrong, it SOUNDS good, but it's not hot to go
I don't want to recreate the original instrumental because it's not very Lofi'ish and i want to use different chord progression over the melody. But I think the reason it doesn't sound coherent is because of my poor mixing which is true Cause i am still new to music production. Thank you for your amazing criticism I'll do better next time😁
