It looks like u put a different handle assembly on the door. The original looked like it had a bunch of buttons on it

Ok so this only took me THREE WEEKS to determine thanks to your video. Not a single eBay or Amazon seller could count their balls twice and come up with the same number. NOBODY could answer my question about color matching because I bought the "Beige" one too and it matches about as well as yours. Kinda like Band Aids - they're always that odd color that matches NOTHING. Parchment interior color is apparently extinct?? My door panel has been off AND drilled apart for 3 weeks because it was determined the colors are about 167 shades apart. My broken handle says "Stone" on the back. Too bad there isn't another option because these handles are garbage. Thank you for the excellent info.

When replacing just the fan, do you have to remove the battery first or is that not necessary ? Can you just skip taking the battery out and end up taking out the old fan and replacing it with the new cooling fan ?

You make this repair look easy. I'm going to attempt this myself very soon so thank you for the tutorial. You explained things well and detailed enough that I shouldn't have a problem🤞. Thanks!

This is how you show "gratitude" with as little effort as humanly possible. Maybe thrown in a 'ty' also?

Look at the first vid showing a top heated switch and small memory switches. Notice that ALL aftermarket replacements do not have these holes and makeshift techs just leave these switches jammed inside the door never to be used again.I find it irritating that this guy just casually never ever mentioned that. In the final vid notice those switches are no longer present,I BOUGHT A LINCOLN WITH THIS DONE AND TO REMEDY IT I HAD TO BUT A WHOLE USED DOOR PANEL WHICH WAS HARD TO FIND A GOOD ONE,BUT I LIKE MY CARS ORIGINAL and do use the memory and heated seat switches.

What's left out of the video is how to get the top piece of the handle assembly separate from the trim. What you have to do is lightly pull with plastic trim tools, and take a flat head and separate it. Without cracking the trim then slip the new handle up there before removing the trim tools
