Hi! I'm Dawn Marie Paul, Artist, and welcome to my channel. Here I talk about creating with God as I paint and doodle. I enjoy making art with the Lord because I grow closer to Him as I listen to His still small voice, worship, and study His Word. When painting, He inspires me to use certain colors, lines, brush strokes, images, art mediums and words, and then He might give me a Bible verse, teach me a life lesson, send a word of encouragement for someone, or even tell me to gift an item to someone specific. When doodling, I make easy choices about lines and colors to keep my hands busy so that I can focus on something else with my mind. As someone with a neurodiverse brain, I struggle with concentration sometimes, but keeping my hands busy helps me to focus. I hope you enjoy the videos and art I make, and that the doodle videos I create help you as well. Please leave feedback in the comments so I can get to know you too!

Doodling is a good and uncomplicated way for people with high anxiety, ADHD, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and other neurodivergent brains to keep their hands busy so they are better able to focus their mind. Dawn uses doodling to help focus on relaxing, overcoming overwhelm, Bible study, and worship, but anyone can use it for any type of focus project and/or to get into a “FLOW” state, which is a calm and relaxed state of being.

Hi, I think I’m your first subscriber. I started an art channel last year from zero, so I know how that feels. I too love art, love Jesus and like you, felt led to share my art and spiritual reflections online on UA-cam.
