Can cruciferous Vegetables affect your thyroid
How early? By time you have insulin resistance its been 5 - 10 of excess insulin in your system. Prediabetes and diabetes cannot be fixed by or moderated by insulin at this point. It will make the diseases worse! The insulin has to be brought down by lifestyle changes.. Sleep, diet and exercise. You will stop hurting people if you go and watch professor Ben Bikmans (researcher of insulin and fat in his on lab) UA-cam channel... Metabolic classroom. Unless you are talking about Type 1's then insulin is needed but a lot less (if any) is needed if the lifestyle is proper. Hopefully you are not too busy to learn like most ignorant doctors are. Yep I'm the guy my doctor hates.. Cause I'm more book smarter then he is.. 😁 😉 🤣 Your vehicle sounds fast. Vroom..
6cm cyst what volume of fluid can be expected?
I thyroid gel or cyst has three dimensions and 6 cm is one of the dimensions if you want the volume you need the other two dimensions. By multiplying all the three dimensions you will get the volume.
Informative, good to know.
What about CBD oils?
Very little effect, but the long-term data is not known
Thank you for the information doc
Thanks for watching!
"It alters your sleep cycle" yeah.. duh. Why else would it be useful to someone with insomnia??
If it’s affects your sleep, Architecture, you’re not getting restored to sleep
Does marijuana benefit Alzheimer's and parkinson patients?
There’s no data on the benefits and Alzheimer’s patients. It may affect relaxation and Parkinson’s but again this status is very limited.
i started metformin it has been 5 days...i dropped 10 LBS....i was shocked. just got a blood test everything was good. but my A1c was 9.7 6 months ago it was 6.4 wth
Most significant reduction of your blood sugar is due to lifestyle and diet changes plus metformin as it is not as strong by itself unless your changed your diet and lifestyle. They sure your urine does not have glucose and ketones.
This is very informative.

Great advice.
hi doc. csyt mular nodules is it cancerous? hope you reply thank you
These type of cystic nodules are almost always benign
Actually it is a weight loss drug, it reduces hunger, causing you to eat less, also since it reduces the hormone insulne, causing one to stop storing fat. You can be on a caloric deficit all u want and still gain weight if ur insulin is high. By using this drug, it reduces insulin/ blood sugar. Allowing you to have an effective caloric deficit. What you should say is that its purpose is not meant for weight loss, although it does .
This is not considered a weight loss drug, although it reduces insulin level and may cause lowering of the bodyweight, but typically the weight loss is secondary the G.I. losses
I can 100% say this is TRUE!!!! My anxiety is sooo much less since I've added magnesoum and I've never felt so relaxed!!!
Never trust someone who call weed "marijuana" ....
Cope harder.
Sir suspicious of follicular neoplasm 4.9 cm can you treat dr.
What is the genetic reading of this nodule?
I’m doomed. 😂
Usually if they do come back how long does it take ? I had a biopsy done the 20th and it’s already back 😢
It is possible that the cyst was not fully drained, or it was going to regain by quickly. Therefore, these cyst need to be drained and either have ethanol injected into them or if a complex cyst then you can easily radio frequency them and be done with them once and for all
What are chances of it growing back after RFA? I have seen some comments regarding this on other videos that it grew back!!
If a nodule has been completely treated it is extremely likely that it will grow back. If their areas of untreatment those areas can possibly go back. Our 4+ year data shows no regrowth for nodules that have been successfully treated.
@Pezhman101 Sorry no too clear. First you say extremely likely to grow back. Then you mention at end no regrowth. Pls clarify for me!
It worked for me after doing procedure twice but has come back to it’s original growth
It should not, I can only speak from our experience in our practice.
@@Pezhman101I had it done there both times
I completely concur. Dr. Nikravan did the procedure on me and I am so glad I did it. Zero complaints. Great results.
Indeed.. Thank you
SUPER!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Congratulations. Excellent work
Thank you so much 😀
Congrats! Do you do a hidrodissection before doing a RFA to a lymph node metastasis?
Yes I do! If close to any vital structures
Thx for that video. I’ll be having that very soon.
Hmmm. I don’t know if this would work for me. Signed “Toothless Joe”. 🤣
history of BC is NOT A CONTRADICTION for HT! get with it!
Correct if you’ve been on birth control pill hormone replacement therapy is not contraindicated as long as there’s no new risk factors when transitioning into replacement therapy
Excellent series
Cheer~~a small swelling or aggregation of cells in the body, especially an abnormal one.😅
Has anyone come back later bc the nodules came back??
No
I had Papillary thyroid cancer back in 2018 and I was BRAF positive. I had a complete thyroidectomy and they removed 3 lymph nodes, one of which was positive for cancer. I have had a multitude of health problems since then...much of which is most likely autoimmune disease related. I have lumps all over my abdomen, arms, and some on my legs. I had 5 removed a few months ago which were determined to be lipomas. I have probably a hundred more. I am assuming dercums but nobody seems to want to help me as far as treatment goes. They are very painful. So, the last couple of years I have had something growing on my collar bone. I have had US and they say its probably a lipoma as well as it does not show up on the US although you can clearly see it and certainly feel it. Recently a lump in my neck area has been growing and becoming tender. I am starting to feel the pressure feeling in my throat like I had with my cancer. I got an US and they said it is an enlarged lymph node and it is quite large .9 x 4 x 6 mm. They said it looks benign to them. My thyroglobulin test was fine and does not indicate thyroid cancer reoccurance. Still, I am concerned about this lymph node. I am not well...i feel like something is dreadfully wrong but I cannot seem to get a diagnoses of anything concrete. I have been thorugh the ringer. I am tired and giving up. Is it possible to have a reoccurance but thyroglobulin looks fine? I also have nodules in my lungs that are small. They do not seem concerned about those either. I am just tired. :(
Great video. We need more TikTok videos! 😊
Best endocrinologist!
How long after post menopause do symptoms go away ?
@@Sillysausage17 that varies amongst patients. It depends on how abruptly they go into menopause or is it progressive. If they abruptly go to menopause, the hot flushes tend to be worse if they slowly go into menopause appeared the time that flushes are not so severe but overtime, they get better and go away. Every patient is different symptoms can last anywhere from six months to a few years
I am so amazed at this incredible technology and process. Fascinating!
Thank you, David. Our goal is always to be on the cutting edge of medicine.

Hello! I recently had a thyroid ultrasound done with no suspected nodules, but they found a 7mm x 4 x5 lymph node on the left side of my thyroid...would you recommend that being biopsied? I have Hashimotos and they arent able to distinguish any nodules from my thyroid tissue.
I would recommend you follow with a repeat ultrasound in about 3 to 4 months. Lymph nodes are not uncommon specially after infections or a viral illness. Lymph nodes are more suspicious, especially if there’s a history of thyroid cancer, which you do not have according to your description. Therefore follow-up repeat ultrasound in a few months would be recommended unless the ultrasound characteristics of the lymph node are suspicious, which I cannot tell based on the size.
Keep up the good work. 👍
Thanks Doc
Thank you Dr, love the quizzes. Will the vaginal oestrogen helps towards insomnia? Does the Insomnia phases ever go away? 😢thanks.
Vaginal estrogen only helps with the vaginal dryness and does not typically help the insomnia . Insomnia is very much correlated with how much hot flashes lingers over time the less hot flashes, the less insomnia
@@Pezhman101Not true. Not every woman has hot flashes and those that don’t can still experience insomnia during perimenopause and menopause.
@@jt8142 exactly not every woman experiences hot flushes. Insomnia is mainly secondary to the hormone changes and overtime. It improves, but in some patients it takes a long time.
👋👌
This procedure is highly dependable on the skill of the person doing the procedure. With careful anterior neck, anesthesia and conscious sedation technique the pain of this procedure should be negligible..
Very expensive and painful. I have a 3cm nodule would rather be put to sleep and have half of my thyroid removed then have them burn my thyroid while I'm awake.
This procedure should not be painful if use the appropriate and neck, anesthetic approach and conscious sedation technique specially with large nodules. Our experience is completely the opposite. Our patients are very happy and satisfied with the procedure..
Hello sir are you looking for a professional UA-cam thumbnails designer and video SEO expert?
I am diagnosed with micro papallery thyroid carcinoma will RFA be a good to treat such cancer? Actually in India if it is cancer surgery is the 1st option.
Radio frequency ablation can be a viable option if your tumor is 1 cm or less or larger as long are clear margins. One via late thyroid, tumors, specifically, papillary thyroid cancers we need to blade the margin of the tumor to ensure eradication. Therefore, the margin cannot be attached to vital structures. If it is close to a viable structure we will then use a technique called Hydro dissection to lift the tumor away from the structures temporarily while we ablate the margins.
@@Pezhman101 Thank-you so much for answering me it means a lot as I was totally confused between RFA and surgery. The nodule is 9×7mm on the junction of left thyroid and isthmus.
