    I am so interested in the power clothing can have on our emotions. The different times in my life, what sort of clothing made me feel more or less, comfortable. This has changed quite a lot over the decades. I am certainly more confident and no longer swayed by other’s opinions as I was when a young woman.

      @@evanflood7038 There are so many interesting aspects of clothing. Like you, now I am more confident about the what I choose to wear and way I wear compared to my 20s. I am planning a video compared my 40s to 20s, I found this kind of observation is quit interesting.

    I think it's very interesting to hear what wearing a skirt/dress means for you! For me, I feel quite ambivalent - I like the idea of wearing a skirt or dress, but find it often very impractical in life, you just can't move as freely, but it looks good. I recently resorted to stop buying any more dresses or skirts, as I rarely end up wearing them. Whenever I want to go out and look nice, I mostly choose trousers as I want to feel comfortable at the same time. But seeing other women donning their summer dresses I envy them, I often feel this is a kind of femininity that is out of reach for me, as stupid as this may sounds.

      @@user-yy3yh7mc2p Thank you for sharing your experiences. It's so helpful to be aware what we actually wear, otherwise we would keep buying stuff but not wear them. I finally realised that most of time I wear trousers, as they suit my current lifestyle. I don't wear skirts and dresses often, but I do need to wear them sometimes to feel like a special selfcare. I am not going to buy more skirt, I only wish to find a nice black dress.

    Thanks for the video! One of my favorite pieces is a vintage long drop waist black denim dress with short sleeves and shoulder pads. It has buttons on the side and back. It has a slight minimalistic and "asian" style which was popular in the 80s for a bit. Its very durable and practical and I've worn it for all different occasions. I usually steer clear of dropwaist styles, so it really surprised me!

      @mycolourfulvintagewardrobe9844 2 місяці тому

      Congratulations on your nice vintage bag. I used acetone, cotton buds and baby wipe, carefully. But I was not happy about the result, because the sticky black substance is bag lining mixed with mold, after cleaning the canvas underneath still looked grey and smelled moldy. So I cut the bag lining, left the edges which connect to the zippers, I used new fabric with similar colour, sewed a new pocket along the edges. Now my bag has a clean pocket. Maybe I should do a video to explain that, I repaired 3 LV bag by myself, not professionally nice job, but make them useble again.

    Thare are so many amazing things on the seconhand/vintage market, which I can hardly resist to bring them home, that`s why I am doing Low-Buy Year instead of No-Buy year. There are 5 item I could´t resist this year so far. They are well made, beatiful, some are over 40 years old and still in great condition. For me these old goodies have soul, they are way more better than poorly made new stuff flooding the market. My shopping triggers are: when I feel tired, stressed, or I need to treat myself, I strart to browsing online. When I see a good deal, well made items, or something bring me new knowledge like the Collier Campbell scarf, I buy them. What make you buy more thing than you need? What kind of thing you cann't resist?

    I recently visited your UA-cam channel and noticed that it has a visually appealing design. However, upon futher inspection , I identified several areas that could use improvement . one crucial aspect is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) , particularly the implementation of rank tag and tag volume .it seems like these elements have not been fully addressed on your channel . there may be other issues as well, but these are the ones that stood out to me

    Hi, can you please share your skincare routine? Your skin looks amazing 😊

      Thank you, I feel flattered. I feel my skin does look better in the video than I see in the mirror, maybe because of the light or a little make up I put on. I don't have really skin care routine. Since you asked, I don't smoke, I like to run, I don't use make up daily, I wash my face with only warm water, after wash I apply simple cream (not expensive, most of time I use my children's body lotion). That's all I can tell.

      Hi I wouldn't wash leather trousers, as washing them may cause the damage. Normally I use a damp cloth to wipe the leather if the leather gets stained.

    This is the first project of my low buy 2024. Less shopping, more styling and creation. I have never worn this Escada jumpsuit since I bougt it, because it is tricky to put it on and take off, and the legs are too long as well. So I have turned this jumpsuit in to 1 top and 1 trousers, now there are more versitile and easier to put on and taking off without sacrificing the jumpsuit look.

      @@evanflood7038 Thanks. I forgot mentioning is : another reason I wanted to alter this jumpsuit is the top part is too long for me, so it looks bulky around the waist, after alteration I can tuck the top into the trousers to create a slimmer waistline.

    Да немного отличается по цвету, но идея очень интересная, если чёрное пальто то наверно будет не так видно,👍

      Thank you for sharing your observation.The camel hair for mending was taken from inside of the caot, so the colour is still fresh, while the colour of the coat on the shoulder is a bit faded because of sunlight bleching.So it would be better to take some camel hair of the same colour shade.

    Love the “tutorial “. I took a leather jacket my son had took a shoe and leather repair shop. They charged quite a lot to remove cuffs! It seems I should have done it myself!
