Heights don’t bother me but i always envision some jag off in a truck not seeing the power unit while driving like an idiot through the parking lot. Game over if it gets hit.

Does boom lift have its engine or electric battery ? How fast can it move on it's own ?

I was up about 95 feet yesterday for about 1.5 hours and at first it was terrifying but I got used to it within 20 mins or so. Still rather not have to be on it at all lmao

I'm gearing up to do some dampproofing on a 115' tall building and I'm very nervous about going this high. We will obviously be needing to use a boom lift just like this. Thanks for the video!

these actually feel more solid and sway less than the littler lifts.

I have 90 feet, and I had to drive it at 80 foot. This was to avoid a main gas pipe. That was fun. I would love the chance to go up in this.

So I’ve only been on a 120’ I bet that lift is $10,000 a day but I did climb to the crows nest of a 220’ tower crane that was boss but the best was my dumb friend on the 120’ and a carpenter came up who was annoyed by this kid a lot and took over the controls at the bottom and started spinning the machine around 360° while he was up top screaming haha I climbed to the roof of the building to watch him scream and cry.

Wild. Wild how indifferent some people are to heights. Only possible way i could do this is if i had designed and built that machine, and/or thoroughlyyy tested it. Like id have to know that machine like it was family lol

Have to love the condition of the asphalt. Do you think when that lot was built they figured in for the weight of that machine with a person in a basket @ 185'?

Didn't seem to have that much of a sway to it. I've been around 100'-110' and that SOB was moving like i was on the end of a fishing pole.

Idiots with cameras. No way in hell am I riding a piece of machinery that makes that noise. I can't believe JLG would allow their product to fall into that kind of disrepair and be filmed for UA-cam Likes & Shares..

I was just in a 135 foot JLG today. It's one thing if you're in these things everyday, but I did not like the experience at all. We have a 45 footer at work that I have used plenty. I realize falling from 45 feet and 185 feet are going to end the same, but that added time to let the fact you're going to die today, sink into your brain is not very attractive. On top of that, I have witnessed several hydraulic hose failures in my time....not a man lift, but it must happen. If I have to be that high in the air, I want to be on something with wings.

The highest I’ve been is 100ft working on cellphone towers for AT&T, I WAS TERRIFIED. Some of these machines have such sensitive joy sticks that when you turn left or right slightly, the whole boom jerks a bit and trust me, it will make your stomach drop, at least it did for me
