no wonder Philippines roads are full of cracks. they not reinforced by wire or steel mesh for added strength
Says who? It is not the fault of our Phil roads. It is the fault of overloaded trucks plying our national roads. Even if our roads was built as per DPWH specs, it will still be damaged in due time you know why? Because there are no proper monitoring of our overloaded trucks. Other things such as improper practice or contractor's neglect is not an excuse also
@@aecs.constn you're correct about that but it is still no reason to cut corners. do the road correctly so that there is only one department to blame. Road neglect is a common practice there specially in the small cities. large cities seems to be maintained regularly, as it should. But reinforced concrete would last a lot longer than just plain slab concrete would you say?
no need for reinforcement it's too expensive, proper subgrade, subbase preparation and well design mixture of concrete are enough to produce pavement
@aecs.constn using rebars would make the roads more durable, especially as you cannot prevent overloaded trucks from using the roads. Why does the Philippine government not apply international standards in their specs, especially on national highways? Concrete roads should last 40 to 60 years, but here in Mindanao the national highway barely lasted 20 years. Some local concrete roads barely last 6 months due to contractor incompetence, nepotism and corruption.
Wrong! it is more expensive to repair roads frequently in a short span of time after construction because of substandard practice of construction.@@engr.sabr9534 In vietnam and thailand highways have reinforced bar for durability and layered by concrete then asphalt pavement which has life expectancy of 20- 30 years no concrete reblocking needed every election season😅. Sponsored by your beloved REPRESENTATIVES district congressman and district engineers of dpwh😊

Sir pwede nyo rin bang ivideo ung stone seprator pano ioperate
Stop using concrete and start using asphalt for gods sake. The PI needs to get more efficient with making the roads out here better. Concrete is more expensive, it takes longer to pour and cure, it is more expensive to maintain, the workers are more likely to get hurt on the job and concrete is not durable in wet climates. Asphalt is cheaper, easier and faster to pour, it is durable and weatherproof in wet climates and way easier to maintain. Get with the program and get these roads fixed in a timely manner. Commerce on these roads are more important than condos. Asphalt is easier and smoother on the body and the vehicles. STOP USING CONCRETE!
Temperature Rise: Concrete is more durable: May expensive but has long lifespan:
💯💯💯💯💯👍👌🙏
Asa ma palet inyong culvert
Rather than tying the steel with triangles couldn’t you simply put a layer of concrete then place a bar then lay more concrete and lay the next 2 bars and cover then with the last layer to save time, as the triangles are used to hold the bars in place and have no real purpose for reinforcement.
How much bos ang isa
where is the stake out line lol. peculiar.
Go on and cry about it 🤣
These are super great. Inwish we had them in North America
They are tough trucks
@@aecs.constn Much unlike American trucks. Designed in Michigan, and assembled in Mexico from German plastic... even our Fusos are just a Fuso cab glued to a Freightliner.
