If I wanted to make this dress slightly less sheer what stitch would you recommend? I LOVE your work!
I would use a smaller hook!! but it wouldn’t be as stretchy so you would need to increase for the skirt portion as opposed to no increases like I did here. You could also switch the stitch and just do double crochets instead of V stitch:)

How is this gonna fit over my bum? I've chained my waist and done 4 rows and I'm already struggling to get it on!
You would place a stitch marker on each side of the skirt when laying it flat (2 total) and place an increase on each stitch marker/ each side for as many rows as you need to fit over your bum :)
please did you stretch out the chain to fit waist size to begin the skirt or ??😔
Yes, I chained my lower waist LOOSELY so it had stretch!
