Caught these units at Basildon, they were doing a Manningtree Down Siding to Wickford service via Shoeburyness

379 does not sound healthy. Have a model of it on my model railway in Centro green with East mids branding :D. It's weird how network rail have converted these units and yet at the same time they could not be arsed to repaint them

Long way to Cleethorpes on that thing! It's probably going to Ilford TMD and then either to storage at Long Marston or going as extra stock to the HoWL or as extra capacity stock on Swansea to West Wales services (saw a 4 car 153 at Pembrey recently on a Carmarthen service, usually it's two cars).
