it was immediately evident it was an ammo issue...I understand the struggle, but if you want to be taken seriously as a firearm channel, you can't be doing reviews like this and saying the firearm was disappointing from how it cycles garbage ammo. I don't even own one of these but from literally every video I've watched on this exact gun, nobody else is having this issue. This type of stuff is the difference between a subscribe and hitting the back button, move on to the next one. No hate meant at all, just take this as constructive criticism. There is a reason, other than sponsorship, all the big guntubers always tale a minute to specify ammo used and if they have issues, they highlight trying other ammo to see rule out the issue.

I love the concept of a bolt action shotgun but too bad it no good. Savage needs to recall this issue and fix the problem. Also need to take the design back to the drawing board and improve on its reliability.

Well you got two options if you havent gotten it off yet, you can getdredremel with a small cut off disc and create a new flat head groove or get a drill bit that is smaller than the diameter of the screw and partiall drill into the scre, that will relieve the tension allowing you to back the screw out the rest the way

I got one off Temu for $8. I like it and it's handy to have, and it'll charge my Motorola Razr 1.5 times on a full bank. Only drawback is the snail slow solar charging speed. It takes around 3 hours to fully charge via USB-C, but it takes around 30 hours of exposure to direct sunlight under clear conditions to fully charge.
