I just got my first ext range guitar. A 7 string Agile I found at a pawn shop on a trip. It was a $500 agile for $130 and a hard case included. Had no issues except loose scratchy pots. Plays almost as good as my $1k schecter, but the 20-24 fret has a CHUNKY heel, making solos hard....but it is a cheap bolt on model. Love it for the price though.
Ive always hated when people asked that question CLEARLY because they won't have the ears or experience to tell how incredibly different the sound and feel of a bass is from a very downtuned guitar even a 30" baritone in E standard bass range sounds ridiculously different from a bass in E standard
i was going to say that it's fine i'd just show up with a 6 string bass to compensate, then i realized that it's a 9 string guitar and to be completely honest with you at that point you don't really need me in the band D:
This shit SLAPS, and also I legit never knew 9-string was a thing, this is DOPE as fuck, and the notes, the progression of 0:30 is godlike tbh, this is dope for real. Rock on man!!
@@prod6thl got-damn lol, for real? I've just never looked for them or seen anyone play with them before, I can't imagine playing with 10-string but this is legit no joke selling me on a 9-string, the range is CRAZY
Stunning!
Dope bro
thall
Massive tone
What do you do that?
So cool
Kind of reminds me of a Firelink intro
would like to hear that with an analog amp
Hell yeah
That tone is absolutely NUTTY.

@@thedroptuner1448 ofc dude!!! keep it up👍👍
First
I agree with the title why bother with extended range guitars 7 strings are ok although 8+ strings at this point might as well play bass
why play extended range? to have extended range, it's not that deep bro
So glad this popped into my feed 🔥
i think you need an octive or double bass to play along with this. massive huge scale bass would be a good match. 🍻
🔥🔥
nice dog
what kind of tuning is it?
I like this
After hearing side by sounds it's two distinctly different sounds unless you are playing through a lot of distortion.
Double drop B on a 6 string huh? What settings are you using? Like what do you use to make the guitar sound lower than it is?
@@Protectorofangels777 it's just a pitch shifter on the Archetype Petrucci
Great sound Very heavy and low but still very clean
sounds gothic
Does the top string struggle to maintain a tune?
@@BlackRosaryOfficial yeah, low B on a 30" scale is not ideal
@@thedroptuner1448 I would want a Kalium .116 or .12" for B0 over this scale.
Its not just the tuning its the fact that a bass is a whole different instrument altogether
Not quite my tempo.
Good one kmac
insert stank face
Good Sounds 🎸
I'm trying to get ibenez RG 2228
Sounds good,🫡. guitar brand ?

Fuck yeah man nice you got a new sub! 🤘
This is the best video on your Page thankyou for Uploading Buster ❤
Your guitar can be like a bass if my bass can be like a guitar.
money for the guitar but not for an audiointerface.... brother why ahaha
@@mirkovtz40 I do have an audio interface, I'm literally using it in the video I just prefer running it through the amp at the end for projection.
@@thedroptuner1448 your playing is really good… way beyond my level…. by far… but ur sound is ass. not tryin to be mean. just givin an honest answer.
@mirkovtz40 lol what's ass is your listening skills😂 don't listen to this loser mate
Hell nah, i tought you were using a multiscale with the strings backwards, I need to sleep right now.
