Discing Around

Приєднався 13 сер 2016
Discing Around is all about finding lost disc golf discs, disc & accessories reviews, my personal adventure through disc golf, and so much more! All reviews are my own, and are my own opinions told with my experiences. We use various retrieval methods with reviews and techniques to help retrieve your disc. All discs with ink have owners contacted after the video, with every effort to return lost discs back to their rightful bags. Cleaning up the waterways around courses from discs to trash gives me a different sense of purpose and helps me enjoy the sport more.

Unboxed this yesterday and wanted to share what I thought about it so far, and what I plan on using it for. Full review of the Brick 2.0 coming up in a few weeks! Not a paid promot...

Good Review, thanks!
we want to see you find discs. who cares about your stupid equipment you capitalist ding dong.
Man you would be blown away with super light mods i made on my trooper.... I have a mesh front loader.. I have made the flap into a pocket for my main driver i put a mini pocket on the side of the bottom pocket..like the mvp models . That tiny picket is for a pop top. I have plastic at the bottom for no tip.. I left my plastic on the sides and tied a string to it and your able to carry a retriever Pole. Goes into the bottle holder
Thanks for the in-depth review. I am just starting out and was looking at this bag as a good intro bag for my fast growing disc collection. I’m also located in Washington, on the east side 🎉
I got one as a gift. I think the side panels need to be thicker so the top does shift and fall down. Other than that it’s great
How does it compare to a add Ranger bag size. I would love to have the cooler. I have a DD Ranger in a Zuca cart and would love it if this fit into the cart. Also, if you have ice in the bag does the cold “leak” into the top disc section causing condensation or cold to the touch disc?
DD Ranger has a bottom profile of 9" long x 12" wide, and the StarFrame Brick is 8.9" long x 12.6" wide. If you have at least half inch extra width on your Zuca cart when you have the Ranger on it, the Brick would fit. The Brick is only 0.7" taller than the Ranger as well. I haven't had ice leak into the top disc compartment from the bottom, even when the bag fell on its side once while full of a few pounds of ice. Discs don't seem cold to the touch either as there is a good amount of insulation between the top disc bed and the bottom compartment.
I love this bag. I’m going to attempt a modification to use pvc and make a holder for the pole extender. That is all it lacks for me.
What did you think of the Starframe Brick 2.0? Let me know!
Appreciate the shout out. Cheers!
Any time!
I love that other people do this too! You go above and beyond. In the summer I go about once a month and just look for discs and clean up trash at some of my local courses
That's great! Summer is a great time to find discs. Hope you find more birdies than trash on the course this summer!
Thanks for the review. i ordered this as an upgrade to my shoulder bag. I am looking forward to the storage space.
It's a really well built bag for the price. Hope you enjoy the upgrade over a shoulder bag!
Come along with me on the channel's first Trash Round! I play a round of disc golf, then retrieve discs out of the water using my disc retrieval kit. See what's in the kit, see some of it in use, and see if we get some discs today! The part of today that I shot using the Golden Retriever didn't work out, but I did include a shot of me unwinding it. A @dynamicdiscs Golden Retriever and 18 foot telescoping retriever kit review will be up on the channel soon where I go more in depth with these two products. If you have a favorite disc retrieval tool or method, feel free to continue the discussion below and tell me what you use.
Very informative review. I especially liked your perspective on how you modify and use the bag. BTW, Ozzie heard your voice while I was watching the video... he climbed into my lap and listened to the entire video.
Very useful review. Thank you for being comprehensive and sharing your personal use of the bag. BTW, Ozzie was also interested. When he hear your voice he jumped into my lap and looked for where you were. He listened for the entire review.
Hopefully Ozzie can find a backpack for all the discs he has! lol
Thanks for stopping by to check out my review of the DD Trooper bag! Do you have experience with the bag? Any questions about something I didn't cover? Comment down below and I'd love to continue the conversation about this bag.
