I like this home. No stairs greeting you at the door. It's a functional house. The backyard is nice with the woodlands. How long are those woods going to be there? Is there a plan to build 500 additional homes back there? The house is perfect for a starter home or retirement home.

Sorry - probably a stupid question, but those beds look far too narrower than you’re describing and to be honest, it’s a lonnnnng time since I’ve lived in the UK, so how big is a Queen, or a King bed in Scotland? My understanding of a King is 190cm by 200cm and a queen is 150cm by 190cm, so maybe your camera lens is squishing the size, or i need to re evaluate my expectations? Either way, love your presentations of some very lovely homes 👌 I was fortunate to live in Avoch (James Street) when I was a kid back in the 1970s, so I’m still hoping to buy a place nearby one of these days 🤞

That big bedroom could become 2 small single bedrooms if the window situation were allowed to be changed to 2 windows. The secondary bedroom is a double already! I do not believe a bedroom should be anything more than a place to sleep & maybe have a desk unless there is plenty of extra room in a house! Otherwise all that space is really just wasted! The downstairs is nicely organized!

Scottish homes look lovely outside but the internals are poor. Compared to say a Cornish holiday home, they’re dull and cheaply furnished

Not at anywhere near that price! The really remote area may be quite pleasant (but not from any window) yet just 5 minutes of that main road plus flight path has me valuing it at minus £100,000. Also no solar/batteries/heat pump/up-to-date insulation (kerching, kerching) and that ghastly bathroom needs immediate ripping out before I wee in it!

Lots of pluses with this home. The woodwork is all in really good condition - but I hate wood finish woodwork everywhere tho so I would have to commit the 'terrible sin' of painting it all! Apart from that this is a lovely home. I would have to put fencing and/or trees along the roadway side of that front garden - who wants the whole neighborhood to see right into your garden?

Nice little cottage. I wish you could do a shower upstairs as well. Will need to get rid of the carpet in the bathrooms, and probably the fireplace. With underfloor heating, it is not necessary, and you can place the second sofa there, and put the tv on the wall by the kitchen. More room.
