The impact of the AME Church in the lives of countless individuals is to be revered. We are still unveiling its many hidden treasures. This story is truly one for the ages. Bishop William Decker Johnson went to the small community of Archery, Georgia, with the sole purpose of opening a school to educate and inspire young African-American youth. In the midst of developing the school, he met the Carters and the Watsons, who were the only white families. A young Jimmy Carter was inspired by Bishop Johnson's life lessons. Years later, Johnson's words stayed in Carter's heart, which shaped the man, whom eventually became the 39th President of the United States of America. Thank you for your honesty, integrity and unselfishness. And thank you TCR Dialogue and panelists for this informative session. #AMEProud

We must learn to operate through the Spirit of God and not carnality. I thank God for the Pastor who was sent to UAME Church because he does operate through the Spirit of God. I remember the 1st month of his being assigned to the Institution, the Spirit of God said: "He is appointed, anointed and God-sent.” I didn’t have permission from this anointed man of God to give his name, nor the Institution, that is why I didn’t. By the way, I also saw Angels encamped around him. In Christ Jesus’ Name, Father God, You get all the glory. Thank You! 🙏🏾
