Perfect video and beautiful pond!
Incredibly well done, the natural look is so much nicer than the clinical rectangular koi ponds, do the koi rip up the plants a lot?
They do in /underwater they use to destroy and dig up the lilies but i place baseball sized rocks but flat on the surface of the lilies roots and they have pretty much given up trying to dig them up. there are other plants they do not destroy like forget me nots , ferns, frog bit, pennywart but i warn against those, pickerel weed, Thanks for the praise it is a labor of love, The best advise i can give is WAY oversize your liner, and once you have made the main frame of the pond. Then you can go back and add the accessories, it's like a beautiful woman easy on the eyes, but once you add the right dress and jewelry It then can realy turn heads. If you catch my meaning.
Thanks, Scott, for posting!! I have watched a lot of your videos, and this really showcases the winter looks of your paradise. I don't get to see that kind of beauty as often in most of California. I t exists, but not in my backyard.

Lovely pond and fish!
you scared me with that title! I thought all your plants had burned or something. Thankfully things still look pretty.
Go ask Alice... feed your koi... seriously, though... what an amazing pond!
Thanks they get fed only the best food every day and they graze on the rocks. i just don't over feed them.

Its stunning. I would add some other flowers in maybe ones that play with height, the lysimachia beaujolais, filipendula rubra, eupatorium, chelone, meconopsis, african holy basil and hibiscuss. However, it is a workc of art, truly matured and wonderful.
Fabulous colors 😅
Thank you for sharing. This looks like you are by a forest creek at a national park. It does not get better.
Thank you, going to our national parks fighting the crowds the trash, the amount of money i spent camping sleeping on the ground was a major contributor to building my pond. now my vacation is right outside my door.contributer
