Veteran Lynx EUC seated speed n rain riding, rule breaking.

Have a little extra time with Lynx. Even batters in baseball get 3 strikes, and this'll only be 2 for me. Kevin may give me 1 more swing at pleasing him well with his rules, though he keeps breaking mine too. Seems like every single one of the things he doesn't want me doing is some of the funnest things in the world to do. Is he trying to set me up? That's probably not the correct tense of the...

Friend got the Veteran Lynx as his first cycle and doesn't feel comfortable riding yet, so learning on the slower, lighter s22 while Tigger takes the Lynx on. Man it feels good. About like the Master but smoother with a killer shock(s). Plenty of power, has the 50s batteries, and enough extra battery compared to Master and Extreme that you can take it for a pretty good road ride without worry.

Had a chance over the last couple of weeks to ride, very windy, 25mph to 35 winds, but learning to ride in them mostly. Working on a campus out of town and there's a mountain bike trail close by. Has some black diamond trails according to description. Looking forward to hitting it hard once I learn it better.

A little post holiday good news if you are feeling down and a little apprehensive about how things going in this life. You really only have one task here on Earth according to what I read in the Bible, everything else is to help you get through this task. The Task is to experience what it's like to die. The Book says we are the offspring of the eternal God who is a spirit, and God put us, our s...
Begode Extreme 16 52mph, motor cycle euc showdown.
Переглядів 6 тис.Рік тому
Have been tied up working but had a little time to ride my extreme motor cycle. Got going faster than I have ever had it, 52 mph according to speedometer, probably 49ish according to gps. My gps speedometer for videos fell off in heavy traffic not long ago without my notice, so will have to buy another when I can justify it.
Another Begode Extreme video.

Yep, another one, liking mine real good, gives the S22 a real battle for off road machine. Both are great on road too. S22 more stable and locked in, but Extreme more torque in tight spots and slightly better landing with current set up. Both are in same category and not far from each other in any way I can tell.

Yep, I got it. Finally got it dialed in (somewhat). Kept getting pedal scrapes and clips, come to find out, the rocker setting comes on 1, so in turns it dips for smoothness I guess. I put it on 7 and have barely scraped pedals once since. Only one complaint for me so far, it's thin, I like a thick cycle, like s22. Having to tame wobbles at higher speeds, but am getting them under control, basi...

Have ridden this trail about 5 times now, had several crashes from running off trail and trying to jump dead stumps and the like (lesson learned), or just running off trail from going too fast for turn. Original S22 tire was down to an eighth of an inch or less tread in the middle so replaced with a Shinko 241 SR I think, like the one the Master comes with but wider. I like it, not sure if it d...

Looking good! How did you get rid of the wobble at t=387 6:27?
I'm having the same problem 😂. I get those random wobbles out of no where and still struggling to figure it out. I kinda narrowed down to: 1. My pad placement is wrong or uneven. 2. my legs are tired and they give out randomly. 3. Pavement ripples. It's happens so fast that im not realizing what I'm doing wrong. I crashed my Lynx twice 😒 because of those wobbles.
The wobble started because I had my break pad way too low and as I was adjusting my leg hit it too hard without intending to. I got rid of that part of wobbles by moving break pad up high and to the rear on euc. Wind causes wobbles as well as surface defects and those can be balanced out by simply taking one leg only and pressing hard against side of euc as you lean to the side and the wobble will stabalize. Break wobbles can be stabalized by breaking hard on only one pad instead of both at same time. The trick is catching wobbles before they intensify and it takes hardly nothing to smooth them out. Trying to tame the wobbles with both legs is when they really get out of control. I've had some terrible ones but have always stuck with them and rode them out so far.
With the Lynx being so high, it's not you all of the time but the machine. I ride tired a lot myself and that usually doesn't affect me so much. I do like my pads placed well for myself, my rear pads were low and my legs were accidentally hitting them as I was maneuvering causing a few wobbles. Wind and road conditions seem to be main cause for me now after riding more than 10,000 miles altogether on eucs. Did you bail on your 2 wobble crashes or did you ride them to the end?
@tigrollin6450 Very solid points and your analysis on point. I have clark pads Kong C3s and I left it all as a one piece. Didn't cut any of the pads apart because most riders suggest to leave it be. I position my pads higher where it's not locking my toes but is making slight contact on my calvis and on my shins. Also the pads positioned where my big toe sticks half way outside of the stock pedal. It makes me more a bit in control for whatever reason. I can kinda bend my toe to make micro adjustments as needed. I also have e-rides lowered pedal kit installed. I'm a new rider and I only have 500 miles of experience under my belt. Lynx is my first wheel and I grew fund of it. I can hit 35mph comfortablly but it gets intense for me when I hit 40 or 45. I can carve at speed of 30 to 35 but my carving is not like when I bend my knees outside the wheel while keeping it in upright position rather than I shift my whole body side to side and ride the shoulders of the tires. Both times that I crashed, I stuck to the wheel as long as I could and won't let go till the wheel bucks me off of it. But, I skinned my butt twice by falling on my ass so I'm developing little trauma 😭 I usually hit the brakes very hard during the wobbles to reduce the speed as much as I can and more than once, I was able to control the wheel and save it.
it looks like you are always rushing😂 like on a chase
I am, I'm trying to cram as much fun in as possible before I can't anymore. Thanks for stopping in!
Good video. The tether is a considerate addition to help avoid collisions caused by runaways after falling 👍. All EUC riders should use one. And I hope you never fall.
Thank you Harold Smith. I like the tether for the very reason you stated!
92 yr old! Your dad is a bad ass!!!
I'm the youngest of 9, and he still whips us all in table tennis, horseshoes, and corn hole! Thank you very much for the comment!
Subbed. Good rip🙏
Thanks for subbing and commenting!
cool riding how fast were you going seated riding when the person on motorcycle was riding beside
Between 40 and 50. I usually travel close to 50 on that road , but may have been toward end of battery and traveling closer to 45mph.
Go VOls
you still like the extreme or do you just roll the lynx now for off road.
I broke the Extreme, but have parts and hope to have it back very soon. Extreme for me all day on trails, the only thing I like better on Lynx for trails is that extra half onch pedal height. Extreme still my overall favorite, can't wait to get it together this week.
Yeah, I mean... well.. just, yeah.
Hard to get better or even.
Dang!!! I hit 38 and it felt wreckless, and I was sitting down 🤯 you got some big balls
Justin, it comes gradually and feels equally stable at those faster speeds, you got a couple of years to catch up, by then you'll be way past where I am now!
@@tigrollin6450 I strongly doubt I’ll ever surpass you, but thanks for the positive comments 😊 I have noticed that my balancing muscles “autocorrect” better the more I ride
You my friend are a blast to watch! Highly skilled indeed! That stair drop and those bonks were a sight to see. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks Electrifed, been enjoying your content and using a lot of the suggestions.
@@tigrollin6450 Thanks. Just wanna give a big shout out to your Dad! 92 and going strong! How cool is that!

Vince, you too up there in the big city. You are getting it on through there, loving those leds too on your cycle too.
Nice ride homie.
Mastering seated riding!!
Yes, it feels really balanced and stable seated. Have only got the wobbles once seated on some terribly bumpy road. Loving doing part-time seated.
Hey bud, how are things, this video is pretty sweet, really gives you an idea of what you’re doing there.. I heard you got out of FPV, I had built a drone for you that TIM was gonna set you up with but then I guess you sold your gear, I was sorry to hear that. TIM is really going through it with his wife Kathleen now and breast cancer, let me know how FPV is with you and if you ever going to do it again! Joe Daulton
Joseph Daulton! Just saw this. I am gonna text Tim today and see if he is free to talk, thanks for the posts with all this information. Been praying for Tim and Kathleen everyday. Hard to find a better family on planet earth, when I saw your name it made me feel good knowing you are blood with Tim and family. I do have some of the very basics left for fpv but have gotten rid of a lot too. Thank you for preparing that drone Joseph and sorry I couldn't put it to flight. Hope you are still flying Joseph. I may have to break out what I have left and go for a few rips if my batteries are holding up. Thanks for stopping by my friend!
Why are you tethered to the wheel?
Keeps wheel from barreling down road and flying apart or damaging other vehicles and or people when I crash which is all the time. Plus, I can Indiana Jones it if I fall off at super high speed.
@@tigrollin6450 Makes sense. How do you connect yourself? Paracord with carabiners? That’s kinda dangerous for you I would think because of the force of that wheel yanking on your pelvis. Might injure your low back
@AereForst just saw this, I loop it around belt with the velcro, the velcro gives away long before it starts to pull too hard, but enough to knock machine on it's side.
@@tigrollin6450 Smart
Hey Tig, I'm new to FPV, and got the DJI FPV but I'm afraid if I crash it, it will shatter into a million pieces, so I'm not confident enough to fly it more risky. So my plan was to get a small drone that's fairly durable and can take a few light crashes without worry to use as my more risky flyer. My first thought was the iFlight A85, but the Hex Nano is currently on sale, and from a few other videos looks fairly tough, especially with the prop guards. What do you think of the Hex Nano? Is it a good starting FPV drone for doing light freestyle tricks? If I were to get the Hex Nano, I also plan on getting the DJI Polar Nano on mine, so will it work with the Goggles Integra? If not, what is your configuration here? Thanks!
Fun video, how you feel about the Extreme after all this time, still recommend it? Now it comes with 50S and DS200 look still a powerful wheel today.
I completely broke my wheel off the suspension bracket on my Extreme to where it is only hanging on by the power cord. Waiting on warranty parts to fix it. With that said, it's my favorite wheel out of all 5 I have. Super stable at 50mph, way more (for me) than Master or Lynx. The 130mm shock travel makes it way better trail riding imo. Pedals are a little lower than Master and Lynx so do get some pedal strikes off roading. I really like the Lynx but love the Extreme. With 50s battery and the new shock, it has to be even better (I got one of the 1st few that came to US). I did hear with new shock that you don't get full 130 mm shock travel, but the reviews on it are great. Alien rides has it for $2700 and if I didn't own it already I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Can't wait to get mine running again! 50s batteries would make it way safer at those higher speeds also!
@@tigrollin6450 Thanks a lot for the info, appreciated; I sold the Lynx for Extreme as it feels heavy for me i am light weight rider, smaller wheel diameter provide easier accelleration.
@samuelju9247 , the only thing I like about lynx better than the Extreme is the little extra battery life and tiny bit of extra top end speed, otherwise I'm all Extreme myself. I'm lighter too, about 155. Dying to get Extreme back on the road, hope you live yours as much as I love mine. Will check your channel for any videos!
What an exciting video!
Thanks Samuel! The Extreme makes you want to push it a little extra. Thanks for stopping in and commenting!
😂😂😂😂❤
Tubeless? If so what’s your psi? Thanks
Yes, the one that ewheels sends. Street tire tubeless. In this video riding at 39 psi, have lowered to 36, do a lot of jumping so it goes down to about 30 after several weeks, then I refill.
@@tigrollin6450 would you know the lowest psi the tire can have so that the tire doesn't pop off the bead ?
@ed_boogie , one of my commenters say he rides his at 24. Might not be safe for the rim riding down concrete stairs or big jumps, but should be safe for all else. Mine has fallen into lower 20's psi and had no problem with normal riding.
@@tigrollin6450 thank you sir. I appreciate the info.

You were ripping! Nice riding brotha! Do get some elbow guards though! I fell last year at only like 30mph while wearing guards and still got some nasty road rash. Can't imagine what it would be like with naked elbows.

love your vids!!
Dude, you're a beast!! 🤟👍
Lol, thank you Vince!
Nice video!!!.. do you mind sharing the tether you are using? .. do you have velcro belt in addition to the tether?. Thanks in advance
YYST Orange Paddle Leash Paddle Holder Tool Lanyard - No Paddle a.co/d/0i1qbqhj This tether has velcro at one end that I wrap around my belt. It pulls free if really hard jerk, but still enough to knock euc down so it doesn't go careening into people or traffic. Getting ready to upgrade to one notch higher in strength, because this euc a little heavier than my other ones.
Cool vid; you're a bucket of road rash waiting to happen. Also, how do you avoid copyright striking?
My wife won't let me in the house if I don't have a new scar or rash patch after each ride. Since I'm not monetized it doesn't hurt channel or views according to UA-cam statement when uploading.
HAHAHAHHAHAHA
Fonse! I love Happy Days.
What trails are these I live in Wilkes and want to know how far they are from me
These particular trails on this video is at Mezzeppa park in Mooresville NC. I do love Dark Mountain by the dam in Wilkesboro. Also, near courthouse there is walking park (tennis and paddle ball too), there is a walking/ mountain bike trail at the big parking lot left side as you pull in. That one is easy. But just to left of easy trail up hill a little is a closed trail, ride about 1/4 mile on that trail and there is a killer black diamond like trail with huge jumps. Hope to go back in couple of weeks!
How old were you when you started doing this?
Jeremy, 52, I'm big 55 now. According to what I can get into and man up stairs if I see 56.
