There is a traditional, more complete Litany of the Saints. This Litany is a drastic short form of it. In view of the situation of the Church and the world, it is more than necessary to return to the powerful prayers of Catholic Tradition. Those prayers helped the Church to overcome many trials. The Catholic Church can only find back her identity in tradition, thereby strengthening her roots to be restored by the water of eternal life.

I am happy to listen to the Gregorian Litany of all saints on the Feast of All Saints to day.This singing takes to the olden days. How elevating it is!

I wish the music at Mass were more like this, instead of Protestant-style "worship" music with a band and a lead singer.

I have listened to this at least once a week for the past couple years (most of the time back to back for about an hour!) - I LOVE IT! It's unfortunate that many of our Churches think they must play "contemporary" music to hold our attention in Mass. Our church near the university has been known to play RENT & the Beatles :( completely destroys the prayerful atmosphere ... THIS is the music I want- now & forever! -Pax et bonum

I feel God's presence each time I listen to the litany of the saints.
