Lose yourself... Lose yourself in the music... I recommend you, brothers and sisters on this planet, to get together with some friends and go camping .... Take your drums and shakers and bells and tambourines... Create harmony thorough the music...Tune into the same pulse... Then let that harmony take YOU over... Do it for the trance... Some time spent in letting go of ego creates so much clari...

    So much butthurt in the comments, LOL!! Adyashanti is right though, manifesting doesn't make you happy. Just like money doesn't make you happy either, this goes for everything else outside of ourselves too. If you are trying to manifest to make yourself happy, which really, i don't understand why else you would try to manifest.... then... well... it won't bring you happiness... so.. why try to manifest?? Maybe i am just not understanding the point of manifestation, i just.. don't get it. Why bother? So long as you are stable in your life, like, have enough money to be OK, then, i don't see why it is needed to try to do any spiritual manifestation. As was stated, happiness isn't an outside job. Happiness comes from inside, so... why do we need to try manifest something outside of ourselves if we are stable, and if we can't find happiness outside anyway? What is the point?? To me, personally, it is all illusion... i may not be rich in money, but, i am stable... so, i have no need... I could do spiritual manifestation, but, i don't want to. I feel it isn't needed and it is an illusion to me anyway... Also, to do spiritual manifestation, it is all about me. Sometimes in life, we can't get what we want, people don't like that fact though... However, there is no danger in not getting what you want. Please understand, i am not talking about what we need, but what we want. Totally different animal here. Sometimes in life, we just can't get our wants, and that is completely fine. However, many people don't like the idea of this. To me, it is ego desires, wants are ego desires and yes, it is nice to have them fulfilled, but when you go out of your way to try to spiritually manifest your desires, that is taking ego desires to the extreme, it is taking things so far. There is no need. If it happens, that is great, if it doesn't that is OK. ...... I just don't understand why we can't act more mature and also grow and learn from the experience of not having, as opposed to always getting our desires fulfilled because we just MUST have whatever it is we desire... Sorry for the wall of text... haha..

    But wait, adyashanti is manifesting himself as some spiritual leader which is egocentric. After all, if he knows he's God and everyone else is too why does he have to be some big shot in a stage giving advice? It's like robbing you of your own watch and selling it back to you.

    Well, that's me, I'm a little shy to say. It was 6 years ago when there was more personal will and know-it-all mind. I completely get what he's saying now too. Manifestation is fine...and don't mistaken it for the path to true happiness and realization. It's not.

      Monique Martineau We all go through silyness on our way to greater understanding. Few years ago I thought I had it more or less figured out and couldve told you a lot about how things are and whats important. These days I dont see the point anymore. Theres just too much thats happening and too much is unknown to pretend to know why or even bother to make sense of it.

      There are questions around this too though... whether it is a diversion to attempt to manifest physical health ( my girlfriend suffers a lot sith pain) Any advice?

    • @Bassywassy20
      @Bassywassy20 4 роки тому

      @@Molumba To not try and fix oneself, but realize sickness is just one version of how it could be. Metaphorically change the tuner on the radio if you will. Feel into the idea of being a healthy 'you' as strongly as one can even to the point you already start feeling it. Ask her to remind herself of a time she felt great. That said I know pain can be tricky to turn ones focus away from, because its so straightforward and obviously there. It wil take practice and repetition to keep that 'healthy feeling' active. Secondly, pain means that life is calling out to an aspect of our life that is dysfunctional. Every part of ones body represents an aspect of ourselves. So the location of the pain could give a hint as what to look at in regardence of what to change. Sickness of the body is just a manifestation like anything else. So all there's to it is to figure out how/why you're manifesting it. When thats answered you usually dont even need to 'change' it because no one would consciously manifest discomfort. Hope that helps. Greets~

      Watched it again, and I do understand why one would try to squeeze the law of attraction into a 'spirirtual life', because I've been there as well. But Adyashanti, as an enlightened being, does not understand the idea of a personal will - and thats often the place the need for a manifestation comes from. He lives his life from a place of total surrender, so for him a personal desire to manifest something doesnt make sense. The parking space thing just proves that even after Realization some of our human quirks as an individual aspect of the infinite remain - that which makes us authentic on an individual level. You asked a question, got the answer, maybe got a little off-put by the answer, but then learned. Thats how it goes. But folly is the road to wisdom, right?

    Jason Brookes.11 months ago (edited) Thanks Jason! I feel like many spiritual teachers who come out of Buddhist / Zen traditions he's trivalizing LoA here and not fully understanding that in the flow of higher self-orchestrated manifestation, life IS infinitely more fulfulling and amazing and enriching by default... whether it's a good parking space you get... or a chance encounter with the person that ends up taking your life in a completely different direction. It's a different game entirely - and the only danger is getting caught up in that and needing life to conform to this all the time (and basically being an annoying LoA junkie that's in their ego trying to feel good all the time). So... if this orchestration and flow of positive synchronicity in life is more representative of the more enlightened YOU, how does that not matter? Read more

    This teaching resonates with me. I've learned over time that manifesting has little to do with spiritual growth. The problem that I found from working with the LoA type stuff is that it creates a mental habit (at least for me) of looking outside of myself for fulfillment, which never works. Even when I had the intention of, "oh I'm doing this for my spiritual growth" it still didn't work because of the mental habit it created. I worked with an African shaman who told me that basically if you're not meant to have it for this incarnation, then it causes more problems trying to go after it. He carries the teaching that spirit, ancestors, guides instruct you as you go from a spiritual level and (ideally) you have what you need for each phase of life.

      Exactly. Manifesting has to do with powers of the mind (siddhi's). The mind has many abilities which we in the modern/western world haven't even begun to understand, which is why we are attracted to Gurus doing magic tricks like levitation, teleporting, telepathy, manifestation, telekinesis etc. Those are just psychic magic tricks (Siddhi's) that the mind can do. But in the West, our use of the mind is so limited that we are even wowed by this and we confuse it with spirituality or awakening. Spirituality is going beyond the mind. It is awakening out of the dream and illusions of the mind and all its desires. Siddhis or mind powers still take you back into ego and desires (ie many gurus and shamans with "magical powers" of the mind love power which is ego driven). In Eastern spirituality, it is strongly cautioned that one on the spiritual path stay away from using siddhi's because of this reason of the ego getting involved and there is nothing spiritual about it.

      Jason Brookes. Just to add to this, 'it's worth pointing out that The Secret' is a gross simplification of the Abraham/Bashar/Seth material and so anyone who bases their understanding of LoA metaphysics on that, really is missing a lot of the deeper, spiritual basis of these concepts.

    • @zazeel1
      @zazeel1 7 років тому

      absolutely agree....'the secret' did way more harm than good to the current understanding of LoA. 'the secret' is a pop culture version of something that takes a great deal of understanding and practice. people read the book and tried it out and basically nothing happened for them so they gave up. bit like going to the gym for 3 months and expecting miracles. i've been practicing LoA for 35 years and i have manifested a wonderful life without working a formal job. having the material bases covered has given me a great deal of time to focus on deep self acutalisation and spiritual growth. people are always telling me i'm lucky because of the wonderful life i have. i tell them luck has had very little to do with how my life is....but for some reason they just dont want to know ....they would much rather complain about how difficult their life is becasue they tried reading the secret and nothing happened.

    Knowing the laws of the universe are "completely useless"? LOA never said that manifesting will make you happy. Saying that it does just demonstrates ignorance. Adyashnti reminds me a LOT of Kumaré. Watch the documentary. There is a reason why Abraham-Hicks publications sells millions of books, and few have ever heard of Adyashanti. "Life is just a oneness thing, everything elese doesn't matter." Well that's helpful and uplifting. Not.

      At 6:45-7:45 in this clip Adyashanti teaches exactly the same as Abraham-Hicks teaches. BTW with Law of attraction you start by feeling happy and the manifestation comes as a result. Not the other way around. The key concept is this: Gratitude in advance is the biggest creator in the universe.

    I still have conflict over this. Personal will? Or will of the Universe? I did will of the Universe by allowing the mind to be as it is and doing nothing. I was under the impression that the space would clear and something New would flow through. But the negative conditioned ways of the old seeped through and through. And then there are other ways of looking at this, particularly CWG book 1: "It is not God's function to create, or uncreate, the circumstances or conditions of your life.."
