Love Hesse, this was a very fun match. The map is big enough that flanking is viable, but the zones are spaced just enough so that narrow play threatens about as many zones as flanking does, so it feels like both playstyles are even

11th is more fun without air rush. This is like going all in on a poker game. Wishing for luck, rather then using any proper skill tbh. Anyway, this is warno, airplanes can do ahead of infantry line. 😅

For it to be a real fortitude fence video two things need to happen, 1st there has to be an A-10 and the 2nd one he has to drop his microphone before he starts speaking hahahahaha

The CEWIs are pretty much only good for their ground radar, they should always be on return fire, you should try to drop them on a flank and hike them through a forest to spy on the back of the enemy position for your artillery & bombers. Depending on the caliber, artillery might need to be pretty close to its minimum range to have a good chance to land directly on target with most of its salvo, having 'corrected shot' is also a big deal. 155mm has a pretty good blast radius, but firing from that far behind the line it's still likely to miss a lot of shots. Artillery accuracy scales a lot harder with range than most players seem to think, especially with M109s they should probably be not too far behind your tanks, firing them from across the map is mostly just wasting supply.

That last point is why I find it so much less stressful to play 5e than berlin command. There's not as much pressure to trade well on a unit per unit basis, you can focus on the bigger picture because you have such deep reserves of tanks. It really feels like you can just play a bit more loosely and take some punches and react/adapt to win in the end

Have you tried playing 2nd UK in the same style you play 11th Cav? I bet you could wind up with a similar effect with Harriers instead of A-10s and Airmobiles in Lynx AH7s instead of Air Cav in Blackhawks. I think maybe 56th could work like this too, with all its MiG-27s and Mi-24 Desants.

The aim time on the Stinger helos hurts them pretty bad against fast planes, you might need to manually target planes with them to keep them facing the right direction even as the plane flies by, or maybe lower the altitude of your helos behind some cover to mess with the plane's targeting? But also, aside from the Chaparral, all of 101st's AA is airmobile, you can send in Stinger teams in Blackhawks first to cover the landing sites for your helo CV or resupply area for your helo blob. Airmobile units and gunships complement each other.

Hey ggs man, know we don't really see eye to eye on gameplay stuff but I really like that you maneuver, just frustrated at smoke mechanics and air mechanics, no hard feelings lol

You could split one of the vehicels and go straight to the spawn to cap his trucks, but I am unsure if the timing is enough. But even a partial stop could delay his points and counter attack. Very fun match!

Very cool strategy! You might want to try a maneuver like this but slightly delayed, using helicopters instead of motorized units. 11e has the ingredients for it, you get a lot of helo-transported units and the Puma Pirate is an extra free-floating transport helo as well. If you infest the opponent's rear areas with squads with Apilas launchers that can suddenly appear near their reinforcement roads, sideshot something expensive, and then run back into the forest, hide, and do it again, they're going to have a very tough time. Also Milan 2s, Mistrals, mortars, snipers. Your Sagaies are not actually airborne deployed and they don't have the resilience to take hits while advancing, I think they're intended more as reinforcements than the initial thrust. I think it'd make sense to use airborne deployed infantry to establish a firm front line and find the weak point in the opponent's line, then helos to rush units through it, then your Sagaies & all those CAS aircraft to help hold the line. You could probably play 82nd or 35th the same way.

ok with this and the last game both time you lost your supply very shortly after the push. I would suggest either routing it differently or slowing it down. Maybe like in this map let it stay in a non obvious forrest where you would retreat to if the engagment goes badly or alternativly can push from to supply your force. That would give it a bit more staying power with the smokes.
