Nice all around kit. Gotta work wirh what you got 👍🏻
That’s right!
Mines extremely overpacked 😭
@@kingosi351 it’s super easy to do. Just one more tool! Every now and then I go through and take inventory of the tools I’ve used and if there’s something I haven’t used in a while I’ll pull it out and see if I miss it.
Nice little setup my man. I employ probably about 75% of the same tools. But you also gave me a few new ideas. Thanks for the load out video, it's enjoyable.
@@mikeredhead2894 thanks! I’m glad it gave you some new ideas to employ on your kit. Knowledge transfer is a beautiful thing.
I stayed for the song. Love Watchouse
Interesting general setup. You should check out Morgan's maintenance he has a entire video series of guess the trades which shows people's setups. As for rhe hammer they do make a steel head with rubber or plastic on the other side. Though expensive pb swiss has you covered in any size down to little 10in handle ones with steel/plastic. If that's too rich for your blood park tools makes a double sided hammer in the same way but at or around 20 bucks (yes the bike tools brand hmr - 8). For pulling nails i suggest a cats paw with a hammer head on it like ox tools if you really need one. I have the wiha electricans hammer pb swiss tiny Vaughn 10oz you name it I've tried it. I keep going back to the pb swiss one (304 - 1). Great to see a humble loadout been a hot minute 👍.
@@MattHmm-rq6dn thanks for the note and recommendation. I looked at the PB Swiss offering as well as the park tools. I’m a cyclist so I’m familiar with their stuff and by no means above carrying bike tools in my handyman kit. If it works I’ll use it. Also, I hadn’t heard of Morgan’s Maintenance but I really enjoyed watching his stuff. He’s got a great setup and super neat to hear him explain his logic for how he operates. I drive a Prius and set it up in a modular fashion for my handyman work. Maybe I’ll do a video on that sometime.
Id love to to see small car setups! I've seen only a few some UK people in focus hatchback but far less common. I have a few workmobiles 1ton van truck use to have a hobby transit ect. The one you'll catch me in most of the time is a nearly half a million mile toyota matrix. It's a simple service car with clear totes with consumables and a few packout organizers for my electrical/fasteners. If i saw your setup I may be able to suggest some improvements. I use veto kp xl or smaller one behind the seat for common consumables. I look forward to that video 👍.
Sweet! When I’m able to lift heavy stuff again I’ll put it together. I often wish I had a truck but it’s crazy how much something like that cuts into profits. I’m getting 45mpg and I’ve barely had to spend a penny on my Prius. I work in the city so it’s easy to maneuver. Toyotas are the best! Keep that Matrix going as long as you can.
They do tend to last until recently. I have a high-school friend with a 1990 toyta pickup 22re with 1.2 million miles original lower block one head rebuild 3 transmissions it was even turbo charged for years 😆. My highest mileage cars was a Buick park Ave ultra (yes supercharged) at nearly 800k still on the road. Our 2012 Ford van is pushing mid 400k one the same 4.6l modular v8 (like every cop car engine). Pick them right you'll do well. I don't care too much about mpg the matrix is maybe 20? (1.8l camry engine not 2.4 oil burner) Van gets 12 at best truck gets 8 😆 makes me want to get a old 90s Ford 300 straight 6 and get more. The point is it has to be built into the price since I know prius batteries are expensive! That gas saving bites you eventually.
@ dang! I had a Buick park avenue ultra in high school. Those bad boys can rip!
Hey you may try copying link address to a word doc shortening it while keeping link active, it may work for you.
Ok, that’s a good idea. I’ll have to give that a shot. Thanks for the recommendation.
Where did you get that spray bottle for your alcohol?
@@stfloppy my brother gave me that one. People actually work on a Prius. I thought they were disposable.
You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Great tool pack. This is probably the most functional kit I've seen anyone share on YT. I really like the bag you're using and the use of magnetics. Cool idea I'm going to copy. I can also really utilize the Oiler Pen you shared. I'm going to pick that up. Thanks for sharing. Sub'd.
@@joruckus thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I’ve learned a lot from looking at other people’s kits that they’ve shared on UA-cam so glad I’m able to share some of my ideas with others to use.
yeah thats not compact at all...and most of them you can find in smaller type and use them. its a cheap and useless one since i dont see you taking this on a carry, where EDC counts. EDC means what you cary everyday and use, half of that is just tools, its not EDC, and if you know how to you can compact them so much that you dont feel themand its not that bulky. and also you never put everything in one bag, cause you might loose it. you have tiers of safety. checkout urban prepper or Jon gadget for how to make a EDC, and you have multiple depending on the sittuation, a do it all is not that great!
hard to find a good accordion style organiser bag. yours would be even better if you could have the option to open it wide open so it can lay flat on a table, like a notebook but rotated sideways. that way you can visually flip through the different items. then when done, the side flaps can be zipped back to it’s accordion mode. i have a similar bag from alpaka, but just like yours, it would be better if i could open it fully so i don’t have to rifle around to find certain edc items.
It could be we just need to create our own case. I’ve seen some of those alpaca cases online but have never handled one in person.
Damn, I’m hungry now. Subbed.
You should look at the Vanquest FTIM 6x9. Can open from the top of zip all the way out and has tons of elastic straps and pockets on the inside for tools. Its what I use for my EDC tool kit and its been stellar for me.
That's pretty slick. I've got a Vanquest sling bag that I love. I didn't think to try some of their other carry solutions for the mini toolkit. It almost looks like a mini version of a veto backpack bag. I like the tech organizer that I'm currently using because the tool scan just drop in and out of their storage slots without having to stretch open an elastic strap. Writing that down makes me sound like I'm super lazy but I use my tools enough that those extra steps get to be annoying.
Product links please
Nice kit
I love that little oiler. I've been looking for a good solution for that for a while
Yea, It's a pretty slick little tool. Here's the link of the one that I have: www.amazon.com/Titan-Tools-15200-Precision-Oiler/dp/B002LYQALQ/ref=asc_df_B002LYQALQ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693401379483&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9887869061408172983&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9008142&hvtargid=pla-435956970871&psc=1&mcid=c6e49a6172473a6caf7affe761762644
Nice kit but it won't fit in any of my pockets 😂
Haha. That much is true. You’d have a tough time keeping your trousers up.
Awesome bag idea. All the tools are easy to find with the separators; just like an according binder.
Love the way everything is accessible from the top. Many kits you have to remove everything to get to specific tools, which would be fine for an emergency kit, but not for one that you need to work out of regularly.
Thanks! Yes, I think that's the difference between someone that actually uses their tools and someone that just totes them around. I want to be using my tools and not fussing with finding them buried in the tool bag.
Love this video!
Thanks Daniel! I’m trying to start growing my channel so keep your eyes peeled for some more videos.
Great little kit! Imo this condenses down a lot of what people have into a much smaller package. I love vids like this. Often people carry way too much stuff or duplicates of things, ie when I see vids of people with like 20 screwdrivers I just think of how bulky the setup is lol. But love this setup here. ;D
Thanks! My brother and I both love putting together practical kits to solve the actual problems that we encounter. I love watching these sort of videos but when I’ve tried to build my kit like the ones I see online I find they don’t work practically as well as I’d like. I left some room in my current kit to add things as needed but always trying to trim out redundancy. @toddparker on UA-cam has excellent videos on eliminating redundancy if you haven’t seen his stuff yet. Thanks for the comment!
Selling?
@@stephaniem1216 we’ve been talking about selling it. Are you in the Washington DC area by chance?
Awesome car. Reliable and efficient.
I cut the bottom out completely. Too hard to keep clean.
@@JoeKerner-j7e do you think it works just the same? That could be an easier alternative.
the vent rod needs working on
A bit to involved. Just cut two pieces to fit and overlap the pieces enought to use a few bolts, nuts and wide washers to hold the ends together.. Done in no time.
I love the sound of the car when it turns on the engine.
Hola bueno día
Nice reviews. I just purchased the SunRei and was having problems figuring out how it worked. Their manual wasn't very good. You solved that problem for me. Thanks.
Use a tennis ball on the end of the extension for safety.
Great, you know... my girlfriend and I have the same toyota tercel 90 and now we are fixing it, do you know where they have spare parts for toyota tercel 90?
Sweet! It’s such a fun car. I haven’t had to find spare parts for it yet. I’m sure you could go to a junkyard in your area and find some parts. I think many of the Toyotas of that era had the same parts so even if it wasn’t the a tercel you might find what you’re looking for.
I know this was 4 months ago but try rock auto

This was a much cleaner and better looking one than others I've seen bud. Good work, I'll be doing it your way for sure. Cheers Mate
Thanks Ned! It’s been a great setup and I’ve been able to smoke a ton of meat in it.
I made this. It works great
Aweosme! That’s great to hear. Thanks for the follow up.
I have a 22" Weber smokey mountain and have been wanting to upgrade the basket to a larger size. I live at higher altitude and I think that causes a lot more fuel consumption. The size of the stock basket gives me about 9 hours of smoke time before temps start dropping and I need to add more fuel. I'd like to get that to 14 hours so I was thinking of buying one, but I think after watching this I might just build a larger one with the method you provided. Solid video! Thank you!
Awesome! Feel free to reply on here if it works. The basket definitely helps with efficiency but I’m basically at sea level where I live so I’m not sure about the elevation.
Amazing
Love it
Oh what a feeling

Awesome. It can't be beat. Although they did just come out with an updated version...

Very ingenious…looking forward to your first cook and the results…what do you intend to cook, what size of the food item can realistically fit inside this mini WSM and when can we expect to see the full video of your first cook with taste test results?
Lloyd, thanks for your note! I’ve smoked quite a few things since making my charcoal basket video. I need to edit my video on cooking with it to share more of my experience. I’ve done racks of ribs on a weber rib rack. Cut into 4 sections I did two full racks. I’ve also done full sized pork shoulders and I’ve even been able to do three small whole chickens. Thanks for the comment and encouragement to finish my video on how it works.
