Brooks Boliek rides 105 miles in a day on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, camping along the way in the park's famous campgrounds. Millions of people from all over the world cycle, hike and camp in America's Scenic Vistas, often going unnoticed by the big commentators in the U.S. news and entertainment media. TVA Coal Ash Disaster Revisited: Is it Time for EPA to Regulate the Toxic Sludge as Hazardous Waste?
Переглядів 1053 роки тому
It's a scene right out of an apocalyptic movie, only no one was awake to see it. It was midnight, Dec. 21, 2008, when a failure of the northwest side of a dike used to contain coal ash occurred at the Tennessee Valley Authority’s coal-fired power plant in Kingston, Tennessee. When the dike collapsed, overnight 1.1 billion gallons (4.2 million cubic metres) of coal fly ash slurry was released, i...
Aquanox: A Delta World Thanksgiving Solstice
Переглядів 333 роки тому
In this prequel to a film called Delta World, a film crew had one week to produce an 8 minute short movie about a holiday feast for a local film scramble in Mobile, Alabama. What we came up with was Aquanox, a celebration of the anniversary of the day when sea levels rose due to global warming and covered most of dry land along the Gulf Coast. Only a few people survived on high mounds in the Mo...

Environmental Activist Offers Solutions to Climate Change Disasters
Переглядів 487 років тому
WASHINGTON, D.C. - It’s hard to get any official sources in the nation’s capital to talk openly about the reality of climate change due to global warming from the burning of fossil fuels. With the climate change denier in chief in the Oval Office ordering federal agencies to wipe science information from their web sites and not talk about it with reporters, I turned for answers to an Earth Firs...

Michael Jackson was a great reporter
That was great!!!
Grew up in the late 60s and 70s coach Bryant was and will always be the goat!! Stallings was about like him and then we were spoiled again by coach Saban!!! Went to a lot of games at legion field!!!
Coach Stallings has the greatest voice!
Ol Bear recruited a few of my prayers when I as coaching. Met him many times.
Im the kind of guy who rarely cries. But when i saw this a tear came in eye.Because my dad started watching Alabama football when Bear got there
Coach Bryant personifies CLASS! A great coach and a great man
It feels good being a Alabama native & a Crimson tide fan Roll Damn Tide 4ever!
This video shows the best of Coach Bryant. He treated those kids with class and respect.
Im 60 so Bear Bryant Gene Stallings and Nick Saban are the greatest coaches BAMA has had in my lifetime 🐘
I love Coach Saban, but, I grew up in the Coach Bryant era, and he will always be The Man to me. ROLL TIDE!!
That was GREAT!! 😂😂 🗣️ ROLL TIDE 🐘
Those kids had great questions.
I just think it’s so awesome how he gives these young man his undivided attention and tried to answer all of their questions to the best of his ability. He is so kind and patient with them. I hope they all remembered this forever. 🐘🐻🐐🏈💪🙌👏🏆❤️‼️
Roll Tide
This is classic.
Glad to see this type of work back home. I grew up in Blount County & graduated in 1975 from Hayden High School. Have lived n TN since 1987 but like all native Southerners, home is where you were raised & your family is from! So I am still a 'Bama Boy!
Anyone know what year this is?
1973: Read all about it here: www.newamericanjournal.net/2018/02/exclusive-video-found-of-university-of-alabama-football-coach-paul-bear-bryant/
Saban and The Bear are both the GOAT
Saban wasn't even the greatest Ala coach, definitely not the GOAT. Bear is.
Roll Tide. What year?
Read the text below the video and the story linked there. It says 1973.
First.
Where are The Cancers?
Great Speaker's 4awareness & motivational knowledge
Song sung beautifully & SOULJAH'S ofthe; AWAKEN 👑ROYAL👑 FAMILY ☝🏾 👑👑⚘️⚘️⚘️🌬🦅
Thank you🙏 for your acknowledgement
"I would like to know..." Haha I like them kids way better than any of those knuckleheads on espn.
If they would maintain it properly it would be ok. It would have to be dredged to get a good flow back and prevent heavy downpours from flooding the camp. Of course that would mean they would have to leave there desk to do so! It will not be long until they close the gate and log all the timber and make it a big eyesore like Choccolocco has become.
They already closed it.
Hi Glynn. I just saw this!
So kind and humble, one of a kind.
The flood was the excuse they used but we all know they closed it because of the aggressive bigfoots that call chinabee home
Nah, they closed it for spite after we stopped fracking in the Talladega National Forest.
I’ve had bears cross right in front of me! Not a myth. Beautiful ride.
He's just kidding around. I've photographed bears on Skyline Drive.
The man was never a racists.... Look at who he is talking to.
So because he is talking to black people he isn’t a racist? Lmao at the Alabama logic when being so football obsessive. It’s pretty obvious what the state of Alabamas priorities always have been. 😂
The guy who says there's too much government "intervention" kinda makes me think of the interventionists who enjoyed DC on January 6th
Big difference between interventionist and insurrectionist. It's impossible to tell which side this guy is on. He doesn't like the government in principle, although when he talks about the government owning land, we see that as "the people" owning the land with access to enjoy it. He might be on the side or private property rights, but "Delaware North is a disaster."
what a charming man. It’s no wonder that the people who were in his close circle of friends loved the guy
"Good .... real good" "Bad .... real bad" The wonderful thing was that we got to see those feelings play out each Sunday over a Coke and a bag of Golden Flake chips. His show was absolute must watch TV for a large portion of the nation. Miss ya like hell, Coach. Roll Tide Roll
Love seeing the Bear! He was so sweet to these kids!
He has almost as much patience with those kids as Nick Saban would.
dumbest interview ever, coach showed a lot of class.
One funny thing is he said he doubted they would be number 1 that year (1973), & they were: They finished regular season number 1 in both polls, before losing super close to Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. Dropped to number 4 just in the AP poll.
Ughhh
2017: I have no kids 2020: I have had a son for 7 years
hmmm no kids huh?
it’d dried up completely in early october of 2019. there were flowers growing between the rocks and everything.
bet you he hasn't done this again! lol
John Fahey was born here.
I’m happy I got to experience Takoma Park for 13 years ! A awesome place to raise children ❤️💕
Jason Kessler is pure trash.
He taljs to the young men like adults, not condescendingly. What a class act.
alot of people make everyone out there make this man a bigot . Paul was just the opposite
Who in the world would say he was a bigot? This is Bear Bryant
@ J A T - He played and coached in an era when black players/coaches were excluded and a LOT of people had NO problem at all with that.Just the suggestion of unfairness cost his unbeaten/untied team the 1966 National Championship.
...and the three-peat.
Recently discovered Bucks Pocket. What a wonderful place. I’m sorry to hear that re opening is such a challenge. How can people help?
The campground is currently under construction again, gonna be open again soon
Never understood that ppl just couldn’t be together and get along
