Found one of these in the dumpster this weekend. Works fine, the tombstone had snapped off and whoever owned it didn't want to fix it again for what appears to be the 3rd or 4th time. 1x2 wooden ground stakes fit almost perfectly in those connectors, so I'm going to use those to make the tombstone detachable for storage. Also going to paint the plastic bit above his head black. Online manual says "Intended for indoor use" but it's really just about water, don't leave this guy out in the rain and he's going to be fine. Love that he's battery powered so I can put it in the boulevard and don't have to run a power cable.

This thing was a sleeper. I purchased this the first day it went on sale and was displayed at the Lowe’s store near my house. They only had three to sell and one was the display. Myself and another gentleman bought the two available for sale immediately. After I bought mine they did not get any more. It was on display but not available for sale until just recently. The reason for not being popular as mentioned by someone else is probably because they sold out in stores so quick. As soon as I saw it I had to get it. This thing is cool. It should scare a few trick or treaters!!!! Happy Halloween!!!!

The jaw stopped moving on mine. Has anyone experienced that with this product? I tried unplugging everything, but that didn’t work. Any help troubleshooting this issue would be greatly appreciated before I have to return it as defective. Thanks!

Did you have trouble with the sensor? Every other video I've seen has had an extremely poor or non functioning one. Also, is it an I.R.sense which works in the dark?

His pop-up is slower than I expected it to be. But it is still a cool prop, I like the flickering of the jack-o lantern.

This Tekky animatronic is awesome! I plan on getting him this year. But Im waiting for other stores to reveal their line ups so I can make my final decision.

This is waterproof? I ordered a similar one from Oriental Trading and its not waterproof. No wonder it was on sale :-(
