In this video, I am discussing the procedure to improve voice-over-Bluetooth quality of an aftermarket headunit by connecting the existing OEM microphone in Subaru Legacy/Outback 2015, 2016, and 2017 vehicles. The procedure is fully reversible, and should work for many aftermarket headunit radios. A similar procedure can be used to connect OEM microphones to aftermarket radios in many other Japanese (and potentially Korean) car brands (such as other Subaru models, Toyota, Nissan, etc.).
