Totally understand what you’re saying but these reviews are just to show you what’s it’s like out of the box. I would be more that happy to take it out on the Lancelots course at the club as part of another review but i feel I would let the gun down and not show its full potential as I’m a hunter and not a discipline shooter.

Excellent rifle, unfortunately I had a mk1 and I sold it as I was using it more than I was my theoben. For a small rifle it just fits so nicely. I have a .177 & .22 S200 and they never disappoint. I look forward to your review. Kindest regards carl

I rate them to be honest

I get the best groupings with barra 8 with this one and QYS streamline was close behind.

No I wasn't a fan of that but if that's the worst bit about it it's not really a deal breaker 34 quid eagle vision sorts that issue out

It really let’s it’s self down with it been plastic

Totally agree, I just think for the cost of the rifle they should be supplying a proper rail for it and not plastic. It doesn’t fill me with confidence having a plastic one fitted

Hi mate cheers, mines only set at 90bar it does about 28ftlbs with bara extremes now. The only done fall I’ve found about this is since buying the FX M3 Sniper you can’t adjust the power to suit the pellets with the revere.

Try the 11 grain ftt pellets mate, slim offerings in .20 but 13 grain to me is basically a light weight .22 pellet, 11 grains sit right in between .177 and .22 which is the whole point of .20. My hw100 loved them fortunately 👌

Cheers, not a lot of difference at all to be fair, the SLX is side lever not a bolt action like the CLX although I know they mate side lever CLX now

Love my BSA, I also shoot a more modern weapon (AGT Vixen), but love my traditional friend, my BSA ultra 😊 would love an R12, but the Right hand stock is an issue. ☹️

Hi I’ve just got the Daystate 0DB on this rifle

I normally shoot my 97k off sticks so I thought I could use the same technique with this. I’m going to do another short video on accuracy as I’m not happy with that group and know it can do better buddy

I own lots of guns Spring PCP and co2 but my favourite is my 80 It's been tuned at Yorkshire sporting guns in Midfield near Huddersfield and held right can get one hole groups at 20 MTRS I wouldn't get those results using a gun rest like you It needs gentle consistent hold Love the stock btw 👍👍

It's just that if any youngsters are watching, that's a powerful spring to have your fingers anywhere near it. Thank you for doing your review. The Weihrauch HW80 is a truly iconic air rifle, one I've been fascinated with ever since I learned about them, back in the early eighties. As I can see from your comments, they are still holding their place as pcp's make their mark. As I've humbly said before, whether it pcp's, gas ram, or spring. I believe they are all as important as each other, as we pursue our wonderful hobby. Obviously, more recent developed units have the benefit of hindsight in their design, though all are fantastic. Thank you again, Ian. Ps. My HW80K is especially important to me, as I made my own stock for it, with hand tools. I was kept away from air rifles as a youngster, tools as well. The two most important things I was interested in. So my HW80K means and represents so much to me, and I put everything into making it.

@@Camelotscountrysports Yeah they are great guns, I’ve just got back into air rifle shooting again and just put a £1000 deposit on a new fx impact M4 so I hope it’s as accurate as the old Theoben Rapid 7

@@Camelotscountrysports Yeah I’m sure I’ll be happy with it, Originally I was getting the M3 but a few days after I put a deposit on it the M4 came out so had to swap to that, my only concern is the drop of the second regulator is it a good thing or not 🧐, I’m ordering either the hikmicro 4k day/night scope or the new DNT Thermnight scope but think I’m leaning to the hikmicro 4K

They do, they have become collectors for most people now days and some are getting very rare like the S-types and Elans
