Brother nice video, but unable to see the coding
Code not working help me
What error you are getting in code.
It shows keypad .h error Liquid crystals_I2c error Even after installing all libraries
code uploaded but not working when i plug power after uploading code the buzzer sound continuous but no action
kindly reply
Stay hard bro 💪❤
Does every song need different code?
Yes each song need its own sequence.
what cord do you use for the external power source
Its normal electrical wire called 23/76.
Can you make a more detailed video on how to make this
I will try.
@@clickthatmoment3062 ok
what wires do i use
For normal distance use jumper wires and for long distance use cat6 ethernet wire.
can you link some more products for the boards and wires so i dont order the wrong things and is this water proof or do i need to build a case for it also do you need to use pixel lights
These are not waterproof and if you are using relays than you will use normal light strings and there is different settings for pixel leds. You can purchase any arduino and relay for this project.
@@clickthatmoment3062 what about the wires
so once you program to the ardurnio do you have to keep your computer pluged in to it or will you be able to remotely control it?
Yes the arduino will always be connected to computer. As the sequence is played in vixen software.
ok thank you so much
do i just use a fm transmiter for people to listen to
Yes you need a fm transmitter for the people in cars and put a small speaker for the people on foot.
Hello friend, cordial greetings from Mexico. I need to develop a project with an Arduino nano and an IR motion detection module that must be installed 15 or 20 meters away. Do you think it will work or what do you recommend I do to achieve it?
Hello, thanx for watching. Yes it will work but IR motion sensor sometimes gives false detection if doesn’t affect your project than go for it. If it doesn’t work let me know then we will see another solution for it.
Great video and very informative. I wouldn’t have even attempted this without watching this video. I am Having trouble after configuring the board and configuring vixen. Everything seems to be working as my relay led’s are turning on in sequence but when I wire a set of working 120v light strips no lights turn on on the light strip. I have changed inverted to not inverted and vice versa. Any help would be appreciated.
I am glad that my video helped you. Are you using mechanical relay if so than listen for clicking noise if it is making that noise that means it is turning lights on and if it is not making that noise that means relay is not working if you are powering relay directly from arduino try using external power supply sometimes there is not enough power for relays from arduino.
Thank you! It is mechanical and no I’m not hearing any noise. I’ll try an external power supply and will post my findings. One more question regarding the power to the bread board. In the schematic could you show how the Arduino and bread board are wired? Sorry, I tried to follow the video but I don’t think I did it correctly. Thanks for the help
I had two things wrong. I had the relay wired to vcc not jvcc and ground. It gave me power but wasn’t actuating the relays. I also disconnected the ground from the relay to the mega and everything started working. Now comes the hard part of getting props made and wired.
I am having a problem when i connect high voltage to the relays, after a few seconds the arduino and the relays becomes unresponsive and glitching but if i don't connect high voltage to the relays the system works as normal. Is there a way to fix it?
This shouldn’t be happening whenever arduino glitches it is mostly due to unstable or improper power supply. Did you powered your relay from arduino or from external power supply if not try to power it from external power supply and check your relay for any damage or current leak from high voltage to dc side of relay. Or try changing your relay module.
@@clickthatmoment3062 I am using a USB charger to power the relays. do I need to use a power supply to power the relays?
Did you get noise in your input ? Because in my case, i have a lot of disturbance especially when i power 220v. How can i avoid that ?
In my case i didn’t get any noise i have use 15 meter long wire you can use high quality cat6 wire which is outdoor rated. Or you can add a capacitor on power line of relay to filter out noise. Use external power supply for relay. And another separate supply for arduino. Check your arduino if it is working properly or try replacing your arduino.
nice
As always very informative and useful ... thanks.😊
Good job
❤❤
thank you so much. seems like a tedious job I have 300pixels😵💫. can the same be done with xlights too?
I haven’t tried it with xlights so I don’t know if this will work with it or not.
Hello sir. Please csn you grant me access to view the circuit diagram
Its already opened anyone can view it.
Very nice
MY QMC588L ARDUNIO AND 16X2 LCD WORKS PWEFECT WITH 10 CM JUMPER WIRE BUT ONCE CONECTTED QMC588L WITH 15 MM POLYCAN 1AQ MM CABLE SENSONR LCD NOT PRINTING READINGS HOW TO FIX IT ?
Some sensors or led won’t work with long wires due to voltage drop or fluctuations they are very sensitive to them. You can try to put a capacitor on power supply wires.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you!
My problem is any time Relay on and set time Relay off please solve problem help me 😢
Help me brother
I didn’t understand what you’re trying to say can you elaborate it more.
Are you using home assistant? If yes, what kind of setup used for its server. I am thinking to buy a second hand cpu/server/thin client to run the HA
I am using an old laptop with Pentium dual core processor 4 gigs ram, 128gb ssd - works smooth
Yes I am using home assistant. For my server I am using a COMPUTER without a cabinet I had just screwed motherboard in a wooden box. In my opinion a second hand cpu is best for home server as it is more reliable and if something went wrong parts can be easily replaced unlike raspberry pi you need to throw whole thing away.
I am also planning to implement a similar setup, please tell what exactly went wrong and how stable it has been since your initial installation.
Are going to implement esphome setup. In that case ESP devices are pretty reliable as soon as you configure them in a right way. Esp8266 had 8 GPIO pins but you cant use all of them there is a datasheet which tells you which pin you can use. If by mistake you used the wrong pin the whole device crashes and does not come online. I am using this setup for almost 10 months now. And it is pretty reliable as soon as I do not configure it wrong.
@@clickthatmoment3062 I bought one esp8266 and 8 channel relay, i am using D1-D8 pins on esp8266. actually i am planning to buy more like 3-4 such combos, i don't know which one is better like PCB boards where everything is connected except power supply or the ones like you with jumper wires.
@@clickthatmoment3062 I am currently having esp8266 with 8 vhannel relay module. I am using D1-D8 pins. I was thinking to buy more of them but i don't know which one is better approach- like having pcb boards with relay and esp on single board or having them seperate with jumper wires like you have. Let me know if you have suggestions
Its on your choice if you want a clean setup you can go with pcb design and if you are ok with wires you can go with separate esp and relay module but make sure D8 creates a problem while esp is booting up and because of it esp stuck on boot and never boots.
@@clickthatmoment3062 Ah yes, i experienced this few days back, i wasn't able to know the cause that time, thanks for informing, i was stuck many times because of this D8 pin and used to get error while flashing

Woww😮
What if i have 170 pixel per arduino pin? And multiple arduino? How can i address?
If you have multiple arduinos each arduino will have its own COM port just name it differently in vixen for example: if you have two arduinos one controlling house front and second grass name them house front controller and grass controller. And if you want pixels on each arduino pin that is not possible because arduino have very less memory to barely controll 300 pixels.
Hard work boy ❌Smart boy 🥰
Awesome work. Have been following your playlist. It's so productive and useful. Thankyou so much❤
Does the computer have to be always connected to arduino?
Yes it is sending data continuously to the arduino to run the show.
Great work keep it up 🎉
Great 👍
Nice work 🎉
Your videos are real DIY. Keep up the great work ❤😊
Thanks so much 😊
Do i need 12volt or 5volt relay modules?
I have used 5v relay you can use whatever you want. But give relay external power do not power them using arduino on board power supply.
i am running it exactly this way this year but next year i want to run it with ethernet trying to figure out how to do it that way
On ethernet like you want to control arduino with your pc using ethernet wire
Loving your efforts 🎉keep up the great work 🎉
Very informative.❤😍
Awesome!!👍

@@clickthatmoment3062 ich bekomme das mit den code nicht hin hatte alle kopiert aber es geht leider nicht
@@clickthatmoment3062 würdest du mir den code fertig schicken für 150 pixel habe ich über Email?
Thank you for the video. This is still very useful today. Would you mind telling me how I can set the pixels to be set to a specific color when not being controlled by Vixen? I would like to have them set to a color when not running a light show.
Yes you need to make some changes to the code.
Good job
Did you install linux on it and setup code? Do you have a video on that?
No I haven’t installed linux this all worked on a windows laptop you can watch this video of setup hope it will help you ua-cam.com/video/Syi-J3_vcFY/v-deo.htmlsi=0xVtDmUswIcm0xGg
