    Met you at IWF and was impressed. I tried the Deep Pour and am hooked. Congrats for being able to get me away from a product i've used for years, didn't think it could happen. Great product with zero issues using it.

    Would a tabletop painted with acrylic paint need the flood coat or would just the first seal coat be good enough?

    You actualy dont want 90% iso. 70% cuts through oil maybe a little slower, but you get longer work time. You guys try pouring 90% on a towel and see how long you can clean with it before it evaporates

    Can I use that method (spritz denatured alcohol) when using your table top clear? Would 90% isopropyl alcohol be a better option? Or is your clear table top epoxy better left alone and only use light heat gun or light torch?

    No, i literally don't see a darn thing changing... I think I get what it's supposed to do, but the cameras shifting so much, and distance changes from the piece make it impossible to see any change.

    Just poured a 72x25" butcherblock for a desk project. Followed all the directions and this video, room temp was 76* low humidity (<25%), about 3/16 depth at most. Now I have a ruined desk that is tacky and uncured after a week. Very disappointed in this product. I'm trying on another block with a different container to see if i had a bad batch on the first one from Amazon.

    Can’t you PLEASE make a video without the background. Music? It interferes with what you are saying. Plus it’s just not needed. Maybe respectfully suggest. Wear safety glasses , your followers may not be as cautious as you and epoxy in eyes is not good. Do not stand behind the project when stirring . We cannot see what you are doing. Stirring is a huge factor but we don’t get to see inside the container very much as you stir. Your sponsors banners should be on each side of you. You are standing in front of banner blocking what you want us to see. Don’t use terms without explaining what the term means. “ wet it out” and surface tension. I understand but when instructing never assume the watchers know the meanings of terms. Unless I missed it, you never explained how you figured the 16 oz amount you poured. Good informational video though .for the record i learned a lot watching you. Ty

    Hello! We are making a 20 foot bar top using your product. If we are just mixing 2 quarts at a time, do we pour all the way down each time which would essentially be like multiple seal coats or should we work in 4 foot sections? Thank you!

    I bought a two gallon not of the countertop epoxy. 1 gallon of A and 1 gallon of B. It said 2:1 ratio at the beginning of this video. I assumed it was a 1 to 1 ratio. Can you clear this up for me?

    • @dustpan2000

      Ok nevermind. I bought the tabletop epoxy and used it on my counters. It was thicker than I imagined it to be probably because I mixed it with my drill and paddle. I'm assuming the countertop epoxy CAN be mixed with a drill and it's thinner and dries a little slower?

    I’m actually looking for a new epoxy to use. I mostly do tumblers and small molds. Most of them that I’ve tried yellow within a year of using them. Especially on white cups! 😢 Also, in the Texas heat, I need something that can withstand summer temperatures in case a tumbler or something I make gets left in the car. What is your tabletop epoxy heat rated to?

    Practice area. Vinyl counter. Cleaned, sanded, cleaned, epoxy primer. Sanded again lightly, cleaned. Spray painted with stone look spray paint. Sanded lightly and cleaned again. Measured 4oz harder and then 4 oz resin. Mixed with tongue deprsser, poured some and rolled, Chop brush, torch bubbles. Let dry. Looked beautiful! Two weeks later it peeled off in giant sections. Spray paint and primer are fine. Only place epoxy didnt peel was the flat sides which were done the same way. Maybe less epoxy...? Temp was perfect and light humidity. I dont know but this is very expensive to for it to just peel off. Im very upset. I watch a ton of videos and followed directions 😒

    can I do this using super clear tabletop epoxy.?

    • @superclearepoxy
      @superclearepoxy 4 місяці тому

      Great question - It really comes down to the total surface area and volume that you would need to use to accomplish your pour. The table top epoxy has a working time of around 30-45 minutes before it will begin to gel, and we don't recommend mixing more than 2 quarts per container. In theory, if you had some help and moved quickly it may be doable. However, we created the countertop epoxy for that very reason - to make large colored coatings a simple task!
