She has no idea if there is any type of crime attached to that gun plus grandchildren come to her mother's house. Now she has Alexis risking her newly regained law license because on top of everything else Kristina having a gun is a violation against her bond release. So Kristina wasn't even responsible enough to pay attention to what rules she was to abide by. Also she's lived with a lawyer all her life and she acts like she knows nothing about the law.

Molly is right, the baby is TJs too. And Kristina was going to go into a custody battle with them over the baby and that would’ve gotten TJs mother Jordan involved and Jordan is the deputy mayor. Kristina can’t be certain that Molly and TJ were going to split up, they could work problems out. They’ve been together since they were teenagers. Even if they had that wouldn’t mean the baby wouldn’t have had a good life. I mean Molly’s parents are divorced and look how she’s turned out. If Alexis or Kris are implicated in Cates's murder, that has NOTHING to do with Sonny, i i see no reason for him to come forward. Kriss took a Sonny's gun w/o his consent or knowledge (Which is ass backwards writing b/c they could not even come up with a logical reason for her to have even taken the gun). Alexis finds the gun in Kris's bag, it's makes NO rational reason that she would dispose of the gun w/o first inquiring with Kris, calling Sonny or Jason. She is an officer of the court, as such, she is held to a higher standard. If the police sweep the river and find the gun, it's a rap for Alexis her law lic will taken away for good.

So glad Molly called Kristina on never asking about TJ or considering his feelings. Kristina intended on making him a weekend and every other holiday dad co-parenting a child with his partners sister. With Molly on the side line of all of the baby's first and important milestones.
