I made a big mistake when working on my right wing. I forgot a bolt! The good news is, I knew that I forgot a bolt. The bad news is I either have to take the entire wing apart or add some access panels. I chose the latter. I picked up some super small access panels from experimentalaccessories.com/ and install them so I can drill out a rivet in the rear wing strut attach bracket and replace it ...

The struts and jury struts are all attached and bolted in.

This is a review of the first steps to install the new style doors, the door sill. I also show the door hinge and window rib above it.

I started to attach the lower strut fittings to the wings. The Drill press was very much a required piece of equipment for this task.

I finally have the wings attached to the fuselage! They are supported with some 2x4 stands that I made and just the front wing attach bolts. I also started to drill out the strut attach brackets. I highly recommend a drill press for these holes. It allows them to all be nice and straight.

It's been a while since my last video. This is a longer walkaround of the progress I have made since. I worked on getting the fuselage on the landing gear. The engine mount is attached and the engine is temporarily hung. I have started to rig the elevator and rudder and attached the brake pedals. The passenger door frame is in but none of the windows have been attached.

Is anyone else out there not happy with how their rudder turned out? Did you rework it? Use it as-is? Or did you just buy the kit again and make a new one? Let me know in the comment!

I outline what I did to attach the rudder to the fuselage and also add the fairings to the top of the fuselage.

I finally got all of the ribs complete and can start the assembly of the actual slat. Unlike the flaperons, this is a one person operation to fold the skin over which makes it go a bit quicker for me.
