    I struggle with this atm, my baby is 5 months. She will eat for maybe 1-2 minutes, and then unlatch and turn her head all the way around... It happens over and over during a feeding. As a result, she has started to eat more often at night... When did it get better for you? :)

  • @nickyb1856
    @nickyb1856 8 місяців тому

    I completely agree with your approach! There is no one right way to feed your baby and people need to do what's right for them. We are doing a combo of spoon feeding and BLW because I wanted to give him bone marrow whip and bone broth as his first foods. We also prefer to use smaller pieces of food for BLW. My boy already has 4 teeth at 6.5 months so I found he would break off large chunks and gag too often for my liking. It's nice to hear others who have taken a similar approach successfully :)

    Adult diapers for handicapped i´d say is well at a point where you can ignore it ... lets say u have a illness ... lets get 1 key factor they ALL use Sodium Polyacrate .. thats the ,,machine" to absorb liquid or said in other words .. Salt thats made with negative charged atoms on the acidic side on Ph value but sooo is your Urine fx ... Cotton is also always thiere and so is Plastic no matter what or it wont be water proff look up the Video on ,,Engineering of the modern disposible diaper" on youtube .. you get some of them that will ALWAYS be thiere .. so basicly whats left is who has the LEAST amoung of Parfume, Lotion and so on right ?? good advice look wich Brands is used for Adults on Handicapped .. Worlds largest is Essity with Tena .. thiere baby diapers wich they DO make is Libero bleer ( diapers ) in Scandinavia can be bought on Saveexpress .de NOT .com if your in USA ... then Abena is used alot ... they make Bambo Nature ... and thiere you go :) but like Denmark it would´t matter as much if you burned the diapers off like the trash and used it to heat water and make power and USE the burned diapers for SOMETHING atleast unlike putting them in landfills in US hope you agree

    • @maggieeisenhuth
      @maggieeisenhuth Рік тому

      Hi @kaaipe I had never heard of Kudos before you mentioned them but I looked into it a bit and they seem pretty awesome! I love the fact that the inner layer is cotton, thats cool, my only concern would be if the cotton is sprayed with pesticides. From what ive learned conventional cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed crops. So that may be worth looking into a little bit more. But overall I feel like with any disposable diaper there may be some kind of sacrifice somewhere, in other words no disposable is perfect.

    Man, so relaxing to watch someone clean and organize. And your son seems so content just chilling with you while you clean. Is he engaged while you do that, or does he get antsy? Also, I love that baby wrap thing. Cool how it wraps around and tucks underneath itself. Looks more like a piece of clothing than a piece of equipment or baby gear. Pretty neat. Could you wear your son on your back instead if you wanted, or is that not really a thing?

    It’s very important for you to have your own time though even when the baby is awake… and for the baby to have independence. Autumn didn’t want to be held all the time. It was like she was overstimulated… I read her signals. If Eli is showing you that he wants more attention then go for it, but be sure to take care of yourself and your needs. It is NOT all about the baby. It is totally normal and imperative in my opinion, for him to learn self soothing and to learn how to be independent than it is for him to feel like he’s always in control of what you’re what you’re doing or not doing for him. It can definitely be tricky. It’s a rough balance to learn but I think you can definitely over stimulate a baby with too much smothering or “love” in a sense. You must take time for yourself. Whether you’re meditating , reading a book or staring at your phone. You have to show them you’re a person not just a mother. I mean he’s really young… but if you’re picking up a vibe from him that he knows you’re “not mentally present” even when you physically are present, you may want to set some boundaries instead of putting the phone, book or computer down. Communicate that you are doing something for yourself and that you’re there if he needs you type of thing. It is VITAL that you know that you after year one that you can 100% give your child too much attention. They must learn how to navigate the world and their emotions on their own at some point. You need love and attention as well. It’s just as overlooked. It is creating the foundation for BOTH of you to acquire the attention and love you deserve. You’re not just a Mother. Learn this now and you’ll be far better off later. And so will he.
