Mr. French! Hope you are well! Im commenting here to ask you a question about the song, “there is a time”. (You have the comments turned off on that video) Im learning the song but I can only find the strumming for it but I saw you played it by picking the stings. Would you be able to tell me what picking pattern you follow to play it? Thank you!
Sorry for the delay. I hadn’t seen your comment. I alternate between a two and three finer pattern. It’s not really based on anything such as a Merle Travis pattern. I don’t typically alternate my base string. It’s more of a feel I get. I used a similar pattern for another song ‘paladin’.
